Anyone know the name of the string intrument used in the begining??
It is some sort of guitar, I think they called it the "Shamisen".
is it asian?
yep is asian (Japanese one)... it doesn't surprise me... they have two asian countries as song titles (China and Japan)
^3 strings instrument.
but i don't know if this one is the instrument that sounds on that song, i've never heard a shamisen :uhoh:
but we will know that pretty soon
Is the first string instrument, I think the song goes increasing in some sort of:
-String Instrument (Shamisen)
-Drums or bass.
but in the video it has more strings :\
Can you PM me the video? I am trying to find it.:embarassed:
a shamisen with more than 3 strings? :inquisitive:
It is not the Shamisen
but an Hammer Dulcimer
Ahhh, no wonder why Google gave me that.:laugh3:
believe it or not its not asian (that was my first thought) but its actually an instrument called the Santur
Yep Hammered Dulcimer
Nope. It's a Yangqin.
Yeah it's a yangqin, a type of hammer dulcimer. It's in this video, at around 3.18-ish
