Just a year ago, I was procrastinating and fangirling over Coldplay. On Twitter Coldplaying kept tweeting very interesting news, that I didn't always have the access to, and as for the few threads that I could go through, people seemed friendly...so I decided to join...and my life was never going to be the same. [insert dramatic sound here]
Now, I'm gonna try not to make it too cheesy n annoying n shit, but really, literally, like omg, Coldplaying.com totz changed my life guys.
Basically, one of the first things I do when I come home, is checking Coldplaying.com. Some of you may have noticed I'm here *quite often*, haha
Thanks to this amazing website, I have talked to people from all over the world, and have made great friends*! I've always wanted to visit the world, and I feel I made a very little step already, by talking to people from so many places*.
I have to say that this community is like a family, and you people are amazing.
Chris said in 2006 (Enough Rope with Andrew Denton) that*:
Quote:Coldplay is for people with great taste, intelligence, incredible good lookingness, talent, ability, success, grabbing of life...Coldplay is for people who know what life's about. They're always entertaining, delightful to talk to. Sweet, charming, incredibly good in bed, virile. They have incredible success with girls or boys or both. They're generally just the world's best citizens..Maybe I'm...biased but...but I'm definitely right!
We'll he's not far from the truth, okay.
This community didn't only make me meet new people, it also made me a «*real*» fan and lived great experiences. I have become more and more of a Coldplay fan each day with Coldplaying.com.
Without you, I wouldn't have had discovered how far goes the awesomeness of this band, from the music to the people.
Without you, I wouldn't have gone to the place where my favourite band works*: The Bakery
Without you, I would have never managed to book tickets for my first Coldplay concert, which was my first concert.
Without you, I would have never ended up front row at that concert*: not only did I gather great info thanks to the forum, but also FixYouGirl told me who I should sell me my 2nd ticket to, and that's how I met Mounira, whom I waited with all day, and she gave me some very useful tips*! I probably wouldn't have ended up front row without them*! So THANK YOU*!
Thank you Ian and thank you to all the members and the staff for making Coldplaying.com what it is: a great community. As now a die-hard Coldplay fan(girl), I'd be lost without Coldplaying!
I thought I could post a little Coldplay-related picspam every day this week, whaddya think*?
Let's start with Chris
Before we start, here is my recommendation for the musical background:
Proud keeper of "Little Chap," the kitten rescued by Chris in the 2003 Tour Diary, "Phil," the dog who appears at the end of the Strawberry Swing video, and the beautiful song "Gravity". Now watching over Chris's jacket from the "Talk " video and his "Extras" perfomance. I am busy.
happy anniversary Celine! and happy birthday coeurli!!!
I totally agree what you wrote above and can't wait to your picspams
btw, I always wanted to ask, what does your nickname mean?
Here I am and I'll take my time,
Here I am and I’ll wait in line always, always..
It's like when bacon and eggs and mushrooms and chips, put on the same plate. Become something greater than it was individual parts. It's tasty. Our sound is tasty. That is what our sound is.

it means everything and it means nothing to everybody and nobody - Guy Berryman
Phil, who is our fifth member, he doesn’t play an instrument but he plays the mobile phone and the laptop computer - Will Champion
a negative capability is the ability within yourself to accept that things go up and down and you can't always control it and they can't always be up but they won't always be down - Chris Martin
it’s a good noisy crowd that sing through the show at the Ahoy - none more so than when the band are on the B-Stage and the cheer for Will during Us Against The World is so huge that the song grinds to a halt amidst disbelieving giggles on stage - Roadie #42

I never have signatures on so I probably won't see this again for another 6 to 7 months. In that case...
Dear Chesse Nip 2,
How is the future? Do they have jet packs? Did gorillas take over the world? Has Car Kids been released yet? If so can you email me a copy from your brain (obviously where data is stored in the future). Well, good luck with those terminators!
Happy anniversary. I actually remember writing Welcome in your first thread. It's nice having you stick around.

Quote:You are so young. Aren't you? And you know, right now everything's ahead of you. You could be anything. You could walk among the stars.
You know when I was little like you I dreamt of the stars.
I think it's fair to say, in the language of your age, that I lived my dream. I owned the stage. Gave it a hundred and ten percent.
I hope you have as much fun as I did.
