Yellow sounds so bloody awesome! One of the best things I've heard in ages. I love it how the band are so relaxed. I think it's the first time I've heard the entirety of the mellow version of it

Personally i think this is the worst performance i have ever seen of Chris ... He doesnt look very happy on there has anyone noticed that or just only me ?

^I didn't mind the performance, but I had noticed in some of the interview pics that Chris looks tired and distracted. I think it's a 13-hour time difference from the UK to Australia, so the jetlag is really hard to deal with.

Huawei rocks with Coldplay

It was certainly up close and quite personal when rock band Coldplay gave a live and intimate performance for 200+ fans at Trackdown Studios in Sydney.

Sponsored by Huawei, the gig was without any product promotion or presentation but prior to the show Huawei did give away their latest smartphone, the Ascend P1 to winners of a 2Day FM radio competition.

The band performed a number of their favourite singles and thrilled a fan who requested Yellow after the enthusiastic crowd demanded an encore.

Frontman Chris Martin admitted to a touch of fatigue after getting up at 4am for a show at the Sydney Opera House. Then the strobe lights went off, the heavy sound went out and the 30-minute gig was over.

TTs verdict: Well worth over the hour wait and security checks.
