Join us for a real-time blog throughout the sold out show

Good afternoon. On Sunday (2 September) Coldplay head to Paris to play a sold out show to 80,000 people at the Stade de France.

To celebrate, we're going along to do a special live blog throughout the band's performance using the Coldplay Tumblr page. Join us there from 8.30pm Paris time (7.30pm London, 2.30pm NYC, click for time where you are), to get photos, gifs, videos, quotes and audio clips from the show, as it happens.

I would have preferred it on coldplay.com though, good old fashion way... Plus they're going to it only during the show... and for me, the best pictures/stuff happens before

I don't understand tumblr. Whenever I've looked at, not just Coldplay's but anyones, it's just a jumbled mess of stuff. What's the point of it?

I find that most of the time they look indeed like a mess and it only makes sense when you follow a blog and the reblogged pictures show up on your dashboard.
Most of those blogs have the most awful layouts

I only use it to follow some people's art updates and some news.

Beinf a mess of stuff is the point

Usually it looks like a mess because people "reblog" everything they see that they like and they do their own posts... It's pretty messy yeah. And I don't really see the point for a band like Coldplay to have one just to post the same thing than you post on Twitter/FB/website...

People can comment on their posts or reblog them but you will just see Coldplay's posts on coldplay.tumblr.com (or the ones they reblog)

You can see the comments or reblogs if you click on one of them (example)
