Thumbs up Rolling Stones "Top 10 best Coldplay songs"?

Just google "Rolling Stones top 10 Coldplay songs". They've actually built up a pretty good list. It's not just hits (Amsterdam is above Viva la Vida!!!! ). They also have a good list for Radiohead songs.

considering their lists usually suck this was solid
though it's a reader poll so makes sense
my personal top 10 would be
hm-2000 Miles
10.Sparks
9.Trouble
8.A Rush of Blood to the Head
7.A Message
6.The Scientist
5.Yellow
4.Viva La Vida
3. Death and All His Friends/The Escapist
2.Cementaries of London
1.Clocks

Yeh you can tell which is my favorite album and you can change any of 2-4 with 42, Strawberry Swing, Strawberry Swing well it's really their only album where I love every song.
That was their peak as musicians and Chris as a lyricist imo....he may have written more intimate songs before that, but Viva La Vida is an experience and everybody is gelling
And Clocks is one of the greatest songs ever written this century, no doubt.

Shame there weren't more from X&Y or Viva, but otherwise a good list. I can't believe Amsterdam beat Viva and Don't Panic

Prett good list actually. Love that A Warning Sign is on it!

Also it says Viva was the first British number one in the US since 1996. What was the '96 one?

Dear Chesse Nip 2,

How is the future? Do they have jet packs? Did gorillas take over the world? Has Car Kids been released yet? If so can you email me a copy from your brain (obviously where data is stored in the future). Well, good luck with those terminators!

Since they met in 1996, there was no other one

Right I shall dig a hole somewhere and hide from the face of the Earth forever and never come back
1996 ? you're right, it most certainly is Radiohead
Unless a British boyband or girlband went massive in 1996 ? The Spice girls maybe ?

Most definitely is not Radiohead, since they've never had one.
I don't know where they got that they're the first british artist to score a nr. 1 since '96, but they are the first band since then. And it was Spice Girls.
