Two big TV performances coming up, plus supports confirmed

Good afternoon. We're pleased to report that Coldplay have confirmed two new TV appearances in the US. You can see the band performing a block party show on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live: After The Academy Awards, on Sunday, 26 February. They will also be making their debut on ABC's Good Morning America on Friday, 2 March.

trying to get more info on it, but it seems it might be a in studio performance, hoping it's not! but the weather is always iffy here at this time of year

I'm not sure what the odds are of being able to get in, though...I feel like they can probably only fit a few people inside and the performance itself will probably be inside...I'm wondering whether or not I should try to go.

The song will also be part of Coldplay's three-song set when the band makes its debut on ABC's Good Morning America on Friday, March 2, performing in the show's Times Square studio."

when i first read this, i thought it was going to like the Viva concert in the middle of Rockefeller Center again, but i guess that was the Today Show (i really can't tell the difference between these morning shows). shame, because i could have probably made it into the city that morning.

Meh lol , It's the same , GMA also have outdoor concerts ..

The thing is that , both GMA and Today outdoor shows are done in summer as part of a "Summer series concerts" .. Ever since it's not Summer or nowhere near , They be doing it on the studio lol

I wish I knew if this was worth the drive from PA. I went to the Today Show one but that one was outside... Has anyone been to a GMA taping before? Is it worth it? I mean I want to see them, but I'm not sure if I want to come all the way to look at them through the window.

Ugghhhhh I need more details.

GMA Studios has an upstairs and downstairs studio both with see through glass. The GMA Summer concert is filmed at Central Park at Rumsey Playfield but that's not opened yet for concerts.

When my parents stumbled upon an outdoor cooking segment, the hosts took pictures with them afterwards They said the hosts were very nice.

Anyone bother filling out this form for backstage tour? Not sure if it will do any good.

Thanks for the form. I filled it out just to see what happens. I put a little note on there about seeing them on the Today Show and how going to this would be awesome. It couldn't do any harm since they don't have an official system in place for getting into the concert audience
