Friendly Fires

There isn't a proper thread (that I could find, anyway) about these guys so I thought I'd start one up.

For those of you who don't know them, Friendly Fires are an English "dance-punk" band hailing from St Albans, and they're AWESOME.

Their debut self-titled album was released back in 2008, featuring songs such as:

Friendly Fires - Jump in the Pool

Friendly Fires - Skeleton Boy

And on the deluxe version, this little gem:

Friendly Fires - Kiss of Life

Their sophomore release 'Pala' was released just last week and in my opinion it's equally as good!

Right, you've got me out of the woodwork.

I didn't even realise there wasn't a thread man.

Anyway, I am excite to see them in the summer. I don't know whether to see them in November at one of their O2 Academy gigs.

I just started listening to them very recently, Jump In The Pool has got this unexplainable hold on me... I need to listen to their last album though, but so far, me gusta

Just saw Friendly Fires in DC last week and they were great! I am only just getting to know their music, and was so impressed with their performance. After the gig, my friends and I went to Uncapped Live (a popup club venue) for the drummer's DJ gig. He was awesome and it was such a fun night

Can't wait to hear about their upcoming shows, be sure to post here how they were!
