I still don't know what I think about Bane as the villian. He's just a juggernaut and I've always like the more flamboyent villans. After seeing the movie though I can see why they chose him

Great movie. Solid movie up until the last 20 minutes, after that it just becomes amazing. Such a great ending. Sad to see the series end

fjdaskl this movie was AMAZING
Tom Hardy played Bane SO WELL, although I keep thinking of him as Stuart Shorter from Stuart: A Life Backwards which is the COMPLETE opposite of Bane, if you've seen both movies. c:

Some people complained that the action sequences had no point and dragged on too long, but I completely disagree. I thought they were timed well and were very entertaining

Loved the ending too, it was a nice shoutout to the comics without being cheesy

The final instalment in Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy enters the Top 10 following an alteration to the way IMDb's prestigious Top 250 chart is compiled. As of July 17, a film needs a minimum of 25,000 votes to be eligible, whereas the previous threshold was just 3,000 votes.

As a result, movies such as Wes Anderson's Moonrise Kingdom, classic Ealing comedy Kind Hearts And Coronets and 1997 Oscar winner Life Is Beautiful have all been wiped from the list. However, several other films have benefited from the policy change, including Rain Man, The Nightmare Before Christmas and The Untouchables.

The policy change only affects whether a film is eligible for the list, not its position in the Top 250, which is determined by ratings from "regular voters". The Shawshank Redemption remains in pole position, followed by The Godfather and The Godfather: Part II.

Despite its move up the list, The Dark Knight Rises remains slightly behind its predecessor, 2008's The Dark Knight, which appears in eighth position. The first instalment in Christopher Nolan's trilogy, 2005's Batman Begins is currently at 109th.

watched the movie yesterday! Amazing!!! And it didn't feature an open final as is usual with Nolan. Also, he left open the window for other movies with Robin and Catwoman. Chapeau, Mr. Nolan.

Just been to see the film I really enjoyed it but I wasn't as gripped by it as with The Dark Knight, it felt kinda overproduced at times.

I really like... Spoiler the part when John Blake gives his "legal name". Absolute class. I still don't know what I think about Bane as the villian. After seeing the movie though I can see why they chose him Spoiler It worked with him leading the army, while with the Joker it's more like a centrel villan. Bane works when he's part of a big group. Wish we got to see under his mask though. Anne Hathaway was really good as Catwoman which I really didn't expect. Her character was written really well. It was also interesting that the government got involved. The government rarely gets involved with the DC universe, unlike Marvel. And I've always hated Marion Cotillard so, in a way I'm glad that she doesn't have a role where she's the nice girl & wins The part when there are only a few minutes left before the bomb explodes were unbearable I was like: JUST GET THIS THING OVER WITH, I CAN'T TAKE THE STRESS ANYMORE When the credits appeared I was speechless. For 5 minutes I couldn't do anything. Mind blown. The only thing I'm kind of disappointed with is the appearance of Scarecrow.
