I thought last year we had a pretty successful awards? Maybe you could use that as a template and base it on that?

I think Briggins template worked pretty well except I remember there was difficulties with the actual nomination/voting process.

I think instead of having an open voting process for each of the world denominations for record of the year, I think maybe like for example: the best australia record of the year could be voted for internally and presented by the members that regulary post in the Official Aussie Music Thread.

If I can do anything on the promotion side I will. As always it is best when it comes with graphics/buttons/banners etc, so if these are created by someone artistic, the better for everyone

I have taken all the ideas given to me from you guys so far (as well as the ones taken from Briggs' Music Awards) and edited them into the first page.

So, new topics for discussion:
-Who has ideas for the nominating/voting process to make it better?
-From my understanding, part of what people were talking about in the main awards thread was to recognize not so much the music as the people of the WoM, because it was said that there were some that definitely deserved to be recognized. How do you guys feel about that, and do you have any suggestions to make it happen?
