You've been Ditto-ed! Gossip singer Beth squashes Alpine skiier on Austrian TV show

Beth Ditto is as famous for her outrageous lifestyle as her singing.
But the Gossip frontwoman took things to the next level last night when she sat on an ski champion during an Austrian TV show last night.

Ditto, who calls herself a 'fat, feminist lesbian from Arkansas’, lowered herself onto Alpine skiier Hansi Hinterseer after performing on Austria's Wetten Dass...? show.

Worried how her entrance may have been received, Ditto then asked host Thomas Gottschalk, 'Are you mad at me?' as he attempted to wipe the sweat from her forehead.
He then got out a black handkerchief to dab her face as Ditto exclaimed, 'What a gentleman!'

As Gottschalk continued his 'gentlemanly' act, Ditto laughed: 'You're flirting with me, are we going to have drinks later?'

The rest of the guests watch as Ditto give Hinterseer the unusual welcome greeting

Ditto was joined on the entertainment programme, which is the most successful TV show in Europe, by actress Emma Thompson and singer Shakira.
Emma, who is promoting new movie Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang, looked thoroughly entertained by Ditto's interview, hugging the singer and laughing.

Ditto has designed a fashion range plus-size clothing chain Evans, and admitted recently she 'hilariously' buys clothes from a maternity shop when she's at home in the U.S.
