Default Why aren't Coldplay more like Radiohead?

hey all.

I was pondering stuff earlier, and thought...why don't Coldplay be a bit more like Radiohead and Franz Ferdinand and change their setlist every gig?
Why do they constantly have the same setlist (ok, some songs occasionally change) every gig?

I mean, the setlist of the UK leg of the 2009 tour was fantastic, but it would add more anticipation and surprise to the concert if they changed the songs!

Probably because they either find it easier, especially for the roadies and technicians who run the show or because they dont have the set up to change the setlist every night.

Because presently these are their best 25 songs for this tour. And if they will simply change the order of songs, Chris will begin to forget words far more frequent

That would be very brilliant if they did make more variations.

But on the larger coldplay shows, it just must be easier for roadies and crew to stick with same setlist. Seeing as there are big visuals with many songs.

It would be great it they changed the song they play on the c stage everynight.
Make a playlist of all the songs that aren't on the setlist already, shuffle and what ever comes up they play.

Yeah, that’s right, and I’m wait with impatience when we will finally hear a leading vocal from Guy and Jonny!

Coldplay has loads of effects (think LIJ butterflies) and so having the same order of songs makes it so much easier for the techies and roadies to get all the sound, lights and effects perfect every time!

Jesus you're so annoying.
And also there's NO need to point out the obvious ( I looove Coldplay) your username speaks for yourself.
