Chris died later that afternoon. Jonny held his hand as he slipped away.
At his memorial a week later he spoke in front of the hundreds that flooded the church.
It was by far the hardest thing he’d ever done.
Words spilled out of his mouth as he tried to say good bye to his friend.
Every day since the funeral he sat by Chris’ grave. He talked to him, telling him everything.
One afternoon, around 2:30, it was gently raining as he sat beneath his umbrella.
“I saw your kids today. But they’re not old enough to really know what happened, so that’s pretty hard. I had lunch with Guy too. He’s pretty miserable, but y’know how he is,” he was saying quietly to Chris. “I think he’s depressed, but he won’t say anything. If you were here you’d just write something to make him feel better. I’d like to think you’d write something for me too, but nothing depressing. Something happy, something... I dunno. Something like Green Eyes. I never told you how much I loved that song. I never... I never got the chance to tell you how much I loved you. I do, y’know. More than anything. I miss coming into the studio and seeing you writing on your piano, and having fights with Guy, even when he doesn’t yell, and Will always saying no to you, and you getting angry with him, and then you always kissing my cheek when I’m playing and... everything else that I can’t think of. I just wish I could have told you how I felt when you were still here.”
There was a silence, and the rain fell gently on his umbrella.
For a moment all there was in the world was him, the rain, and Chris.
“I love you with all my heart,” he whispered.
He let a tear roll down his cheek and into the folds of his scarf.
He wished Chris was there with him.
Someday he would be.

Chapter 7
It was the day that everyone said goodbye and moved on into their own lives, it was magical everyone had their own apartment except Chloe she was living with Tony. By this time Coldplay had a record deal and everything was going great they are recording songs and probably release an album in the next year. Of course Chloe never knew it but most of the songs were about her Chris loved her more than anything in the world. The boys all went on a holiday for 2 weeks in America while Chloe got some quality time with Tony, Chris missed her and wandered every second of the day what she was doing but then it was good to have some time with the boys. Tony had been acting really weird around Chloe he didn’t get home until late at night and would be talking to people when he was home, so much for Chloe spending quality time with him. One night Tony came home with blood all over his shirt Chloe was scared and shocked she didn’t know what to do; he didn’t have a wound or anything on him well that made Chloe worry even more. The day after the boys got back from America they all went out for dinner, Chris looked at Tony and noticed a really guilty look on his face and then started to worry about Chloe because she was quiet and a bit shaky. Tony said to Chloe “ oii get up and get me a drink” “excuse me” Chloe said confused “get the hell up and get me a bloody drink woman” he said in a frustrated tone. So she did what he said and got him a drink but she was so confused why was he talking to her like that, she looked back and heard Chris and Tony start to argue over the way he was talking to her. Chloe raced to the table with his drink and said “there you go darling” “Darling? What the fuck are you on” he replied, this only made Chris more and more angry but then they decided to go back to Tony’s house.

Chapter 8
Tony and Chloe went in one car and then the others went in Phil’s car, they noticed that Tony went a different way but Phil didn’t worry he went the way that he knew. Tony and Chloe got there first and when the boys walked in they saw Chloe sitting on the lounge but didn’t know where Tony was, Chris ran over to Chloe to see that she had a black eye and a busted lip Chris went crazy he knew straight away who did it and he had a bad feeling right from the start that Tony wasn’t the most pleasant of all people. Chris demanded to know where he was but when he said it Tony came down stairs, the boys sat on the lounge with Chloe to comfort her while Chris ran up to Tony grabbed him by the shirt and told him that if he hurts Chloe again then he would pay Tony exploded calling Chris a ******, a tool the list goes on when Chloe stood up and demanded for Tony to go into the kitchen. Tony did so and all you could hear was them screaming at each other for 15 minutes, then Chris heard Chloe crying and a scream for help she was on the floor and blood was everywhere from Tony punching her, Chris bent over and started to cry because of what happened to her when suddenly Tony came up behind Chris and laughed. Chris sprung up and started screaming at Tony, Tony said “look why don’t we end this whole thing right now” he went over to the bench and grabbed a knife Chloe saw the knife and quickly jumped in front of Chris right as Tony was about to stab him she got the knife in her stomach. She was in complete shock from the pain then clasped by this time Tony had ran for his life and Chloe was on the floor in Chris’ arms, Will called the ambulance while Guy called the police and Jonny was holding Chloe’s hand.

Chapter 9
Chloe lying in the ambulance with Chris by her side not knowing what was going to happen, they all got to the hospital where no one was allowed in the room Chloe was screaming in pain as they were taking the knife out when ……………………gone Chloe was flat line, nothing, Chris saw her arm drop by the side of the bed lifeless, nothing but shock Chris broke the door down and held her hand kissing her forehead telling her that everything was going to be ok, 1 minute of that they heard a beep like there was life back they all looked at the heart monitor and there she started to breath Chloe opened her eyes and she said “how you going mate” in her aussie accent, Chris just looked in her eyes everyone in the room was in shock how the heck did this happen she was a complete flat line then one minute later she woke up. “I love you Chloe” Chris whispered in her ear “I love you too Chris” Chloe whispered back and there it was love can bring life back. *3 days later* Chris hadn’t slept he was sitting by her side the whole time, Chloe’s mum ran in and gave Chloe the biggest hug after 5 minutes of her mum hugging and kissing her Jonny said if he could talk to her, Jonny explained the whole situation and she began to cry her baby girl was gone for a minute. The nurse walked in and asked who will be looking after Chloe Chris stood up and said “me” but then her mum said “Chris you’re exhausted you should go home and get some sleep she’s my baby girl I will look after her”. Chris wasn’t sure but he agreed and went home to sleep.

Chapter 10
Chloe was heavily medicated for the next month or so and her mum cared for her “Chloe you should come back home there are too many memories here” her mum said “no too bad mum I’m never ever going to leave London it’s my dream” Chloe replied “well look what’s happened its really your dream isn’t it” her mum exclaimed there was a pause then a knock at the door it was two police officers wanting to talk to Chloe her mum said that she was very heavily mediation and couldn’t really communicate very well so they told her mother what happened. Turns out that Tony had committed suicide, when Chloe was told she cried, she cried because something must have been going on in his life that he didn’t tell her for him to hurt her like this but then even more worse hurting himself. That was her thought until her mum told Chloe his history of crime she was shocked and couldn’t believe all the stuff that he had done she would never suspect it and couldn’t believe that she was dating a criminal. She had no choice she had to go back home her mum was right she had too many bad memories here but what about Chris he was her best friend, Chloe went to their studio and told them what was happening Chris was extremely angry he wanted Chloe so bad and now that chance of being with her is getting slimmer and slimmer by the second.

Chapter 11
It was the day that Chloe had to move back home she went to the studio to say goodbye to find that Chris wasn’t there he meant the world to her she couldn’t leave without saying goodbye but she had to go so she wrote a letter for the boys to give to Chris and they did so. It was a alright trip back home but it killed Chloe like hell she loved London so much and she will cherish every single memory even the bad ones they made her a stronger person. Everyone had put together a welcome home party which she wasn’t up for at all she didn’t want everyone to welcome her home because the truth is London is her home. When Chris got to the studio the boys told him that Chloe had already been and gone he was so upset he loved her and then when he read the letter he began to cry. Both Chloe and Chris knew that nothing would ever be the same.

Chapter 12
*8 months later*
Chloe had began a career in music and was one of Hollywood’s best actress’ as well everything was going great for her, while Chris was in one of the most famous British bands ‘Coldplay’. It was the Grammys night and Chloe heard that Coldplay were going to be there she didn’t want to go she was scared to see them like what kind of friend is she to leave her friends. All eyes were on Chloe on the red carpet everyone saying how beautiful she looked, she heard that Coldplay were coming up the red carpet so she bolted up to stairs into the venue and took her seat luckily they sat right on the other end of the room. She had to go up on stage to accept an award she looked at where the boys were sitting and you could she Chris staring at her exactly the same way as the first day she walked into class and once again it was scaring her so she quickly said “thank you” then ran backstage to get ready for her performance. Right before she was going to go on to perform Coldplay won an award and they were watching her from backstage. As she went back to get changed again she bumped into Will, Chloe gave him a massive hug and they talked for 5 minutes when she felt the burning in her back and his breath on her shoulder. She turned around and gave him a massive hug “I miss you so much” he whispered in her ear as Chloe heard this she said that she had to go, so she went to get changed and by the end of the night she collected another 6 Grammys. She got in the first car she saw and then saw Coldplay walking down the carpet she was saying to herself “oh dear god no please don’t get in” but then they did Chloe turned her head to the window the whole time, then the driver said “maim where would you like to go” she told the driver and Chris knew it was her, she could feel his eyes burning her again. He pulled over and Chloe said “thank you” she got out and walked into her hotel, she didn’t even look back she went straight into her room.

The Story Dianna and Brooke Wrote

A young man sat at a typewriter, staring at the used condom that laid on his desk. He thought to himself, WHO THE HELL WAS DOING IT AT MY DESK? The only other people in this house right now are... my... p-par- OH GOD!

But what he didn't know was that his brother, Jonny, had entertained the previous evening while his parents were at dinner. Jonny had left early that morning, but he had figured that while he was visiting for the holidays and cooped up in the dusty house, he may as well have a bit of fun.

The young man smiled as he thought of all the conquests his older brother had bragged about as he suspected that none of it was true and Jonny was really in lust with that geeky nerd boy with the big hair. Jonny for some reason always thought it was proper for him to tell his little brother grossly inappropriate stories - that was actually how the man learned what he knew about sex - and so the young man found it hard to think about such acts without thinking about his brother, which was why he was almost twenty and still a virgin.

Scooping up the offending piece of rubber carefully, the young man carried it to the dumpster in the garage stopping only when he suddenly heard heavy breathing and gasps of pleasure coming from the backs seat of the Rolls Royce. The man shuddered as his mind flashed back to when he was twelve and Jonny came home to tell him all about the best ways to have sex in a car without being uncomfortable or accidentally shifting into reverse; then quite suddenly he was hit with realization.

He stepped close to the classic car with its fine elegant lines and refined chassis being shocked by the murmurs of ecstasy pouring forth as he knew he shouldn't spy but he couldn't stop himself. Unfortunately, the windows were so tinted that in order to properly see inside he had to practically shove his face against the glass and cup his hands around his eyes. At first all he could see was the dim grey color of his brother's cap as it moved around in a most exotic and peculiar motion. His heart leaped with fright and he blinked several times to make sure that he wasn't just imagining his brother again, as much as he would have liked to say that never happened.

"Jonny," the man heard someone whisper, "This is so much better than last time. It must be a new technique."

The man really, really, really wanted to go back inside, back to the innocent comfort of his typewriter, but his feet refused to move, as if they had been nailed firmly to the ground.

"It's all in the tongue," Jonny said, "If you swirl it around just a bit first, it gets harder and doesn't drip as much."

The young man was screaming in his mind, but in reality his lips were pressed tightly together to prevent vomiting and his eyelids were twitching with the desire to close.

"Careful Chris," Jonny cautioned, "We don't want to get caught. And if you keep up that reckless behavior, you are going to get it all over these leather seats."

Then suddenly a loud yelp sounded nearby, and after a few seconds the young man realized the noise had escaped from himself.

"What was that?" Chris asked, with big scared eyes as he quickly hid the large ice cream cone he was sucking on.

“Someone's watching us!” Jonny cried out as he saw the shadowed figure of his brother, though he did not actually recognize the silhouette.

"They can't have mine!" Chris exclaimed, clinging to Jonny, "I waited all week for this scoop!"

"Chris, as darling as you are, I don't think it's your ice cream they want."

Chris smiled shyly at Jonny and asked, "What about you, J? Is it my ice cream you want or something else?"

Jonny laughed deviously, and just as soon as the young man was about to finally move, he said, "I already have your ice cream," which Chris intended to reply to, but he stopped when he noticed that Jonny was being quite literal and the ice cream cone was no longer in his hand.

Chris' wide blue eyes were shining at the other boy as he stared at the stolen dessert. "You stole my cone just like you stole my heart," he whispered.

"No, actually," Jonny began, "stealing the cone was harder because you had a death-grip on that thing. And I think we should probably focus on this guy who's still watching us."

Chris' mind was whirling as he considered Jonny observation. "Well then lets give the bastard something to talk about for real. We wouldn't want to disappoint him would we?"

"Good idea."

CHAPTER I

When Jonny Buckland was born, his parents did not want him. From the moment they brought him home, they left him alone for hours at a time, even if he cried. When he was one year old he knew this. His mother was a secretary of a small lawyer’s firm, his father a factory worker. They were constantly miserable. Just after he turned 6 his father died of a heart attack. His mother turned into a passive drinker after the funeral. From that point onwards Jonny had to fend for himself. He had no friends in primary school. When he turned 13, he went to a high school called Notting Hill North College. It was one of the worst schools in London because he couldn’t afford anything else. All the kids would scream at him and call him names like “fatty”, and “loser”. Sometimes he would go home and cry until he fell asleep.
When he reached the end of his schooling he received dux of Notting Hill North, despite his teachers telling him he would fail. Jonny grew up, got all the girls he wanted, took over his father’s lawyer firm, and became a millionaire at 25 years old. He got married when he was 30 to a girl from Glasgow, had two children, and was pleased when he saw the bullies from his old high school go to jail while he was lying next to his pool in his Primrose Hill mansion.

Although this would be a fantastically cliché story to tell you, my life was not even nearly as exciting. For a start, my parents were immensely proud of having a second son, but my older brother Tim was always the favourite. My father is still alive, my mother is not a passive drinker, they are both teachers. I went to a fairly average school in Wales when I was 13, and I did get teased a hell of a lot. My teachers loved me, and I received dux of all the schools in Wales in 1996. I went to UCL to study mathematics. That was when my world was absolutely turned on its head. That was when I realised what I really wanted. That was when I met Chris Martin.

I was walking down one of the corridors towards my room when I met Chris Martin for the first time. I was carrying a pile of books - as I had just come from a lecture- and my guitar over my shoulder. As I rounded the corner I could hear running footsteps coming towards me. Must be some kid late for a class, I thought to myself. Next thing I knew, I was staring at the ceiling, books scattered around me.
“What the fu...?” I groaned, rubbing my back where I’d hit the floor. Pain was shooting through me like crazy.
“Fuck! Oh, sorry mate!”
I opened my eyes. Crystal blue ones stared back at me, glinting in the afternoon light like they do in really cliché movie scenes.
“Are you alright man?” their owner asked. “I seriously didn’t see you there!”
“Yeah, I’m fine.”
The guy who knocked me over must have been around the same age as me, but was ridiculously skinny and had the most incredible eyes I’ve ever seen. He was sporting a head of crazy blonde curls.
I must have been staring at him like a loon, because he gave me an odd look and a grin.
“Are you gonna get up or just lie there?” he asked. I felt myself go red as I pulled myself to my feet, and started piling together my books.
“I’m really sorry mate,” he apologized.
“It’s alright.”
Before I could say anything else, he was grabbing his guitar and running off down the hall again.
“It was nice meeting you!” he called, and disappeared from sight.

I didn’t know it at the time, but that moment changed my life forever.

I got back to my room a few minutes after the incident with the kid who crashed into me. Immediately after I threw my guitar case onto the bed I noticed an unfamiliar sticker on the front. It said “Roxy Music”. Huh. I didn’t remember putting that on there.
On closer inspection it became fairly clear that this was not my guitar case, hence: not my guitar.
“Bloody hell,” I muttered angrily. I must have picked up the other kid’s guitar by accident.
Something inside me snapped. I guess I must have lost my mind. Slowly, I undid the clasps on the case.
I felt unimaginably guilty. Opening someone else’s guitar case without permission is like opening someone’s world and having a peek. It’s wrong, and I felt awful when I heard that little thud as the lid came up. But something was screaming at me to take a lot at the contents.
With a deep breath I pushed the lid up.
Instantly I was hit with the smell of wood. Seeing as though I had been playing guitar for quite a few years, I knew what a new one smelt like. This one was relatively new, maybe even a two years old.
There was something special about this kid’s instrument. It was just... I don’t even know.
I carefully lifted the guitar out of its spot in the case. The wood on the bridge was smooth, not sticky with varnish.
All along the sides I was shocked to find scrawling lines, right the way around. They were words, written down onto the wood in permanent black marker. At first I thought they may have notes, of god knows what, but when I looked closer, I saw they were lyrics.
But they weren’t lyrics I recognised. There were many I couldn’t read because they were so messy, but a few I could see the beginnings of songs in the words. The ones that were legible were:
- “Confidence in me is confidence in you.”
- “Did you need me to change? Now I’ve changed for good.”
- “I drew a line for you, that’s not something I could do.”
- “In a stormy haze I’ll be loving you always.”
- “If you love me, won’t you let me know?”

Huh. How very odd. It really wasn’t that often that you’d come across someone who was writing their own lyrics if they weren’t in a band. Maybe that kid was in a band...
I continued to study the various markings on the instrument. There were also quite a few stickers from different artists on it, most were Bob Dylan. Then I saw a few words written near the base in liquid paper.
They read: “Christopher A J Martin”.
Christopher Martin. The kid with the curly hair. I don’t know why that puzzled me so much. In deep thought I placed the guitar back in its case and did up the clasps.

I began to wonder what he was like. From the way he was running about the place, he was probably pretty fit. He was skinny from what I saw. How many friends does he have? Where was he born? Does he have any siblings?
I actually almost laughed out at my stupidity. What the hell does it matter if he has any siblings?

With a sigh I sunk into the couch in the corner and spent the rest of the afternoon in that exact position.

Chapter 1: Jonny

*Chris's POV*

I hate this place. This room. These people. I'm 15 for Christ's sake, and yet her I am being bullied like I'm still 5...

Let me explain myself. I'm Chris Martin, 15, I'm tall with curly hair and I LOVE music. I want too start my own real band someday, not just some stupid school band. Those were preliminary. But I had yet to meet the right people.

And this is my story of how I met the right people, in more ways than one.

You see, I liked to carry around notebooks with me so that anytime I thought of good song lyrics I could jot them down and think about them later. Sadly, this habit was recognized by the resident school bullies, and now every day they stole my notebook and read aloud whatever new entries were there.

This routine was about to change.

"Damn, damn, damn, DAMN!"

"What's wrong, Chris? Lose your notebook... AGAIN?!"
Cue the laughter from everyone but me.

"What's this say, hmm? 'Circumnavigate the globe' (laughter) Ooohh! New entry! 'Bones sinking like homes, all that we die for.. (hysterical laughter)"

"Leave my notebook alone!"

"Ooh, alright, it'll be left alone... across the room!"

Gerard (today's tormentor) pulled his arm back as if to throw the notebook as far as he could...

When a stranger walked up behind him, plucked the notebook from his hand, and sat in the empty desk next to mine.

"This yours?"

I looked at the stranger. His eyes were green, a slight smirk on his face. I studied him for a moment more, then took my notebook.

"Hey, thanks. You new here?"

"No problem. My name's Jonny, new kid of the year."


I didn't realize it, but my life just changed.... forever.

Chris and I became the best of friends. For the next few years, through the rest of high school and into college, we discovered we both shared tastes in music, movies, books, and almost everything. After school we'd hang at Chris's place and use his basement for our jam sessions where we'd put Chris's lyrics to song and I'd show off my guitar-playing skills. On rare occasion we'd invite other students to listen and give honest criticism or sometimes they brought their own instruments and played along. This went on until one very fateful day at the local college pub...

Chapter 2: Guy

*Chris's POV*

I REALLY want to jump headfirst into telling you about our new bassist, but I suppose I'll start from the beginning...

So we're in UCL now, Jonny's apt. is right down from mine, and life is going great. My ancient history studies are doing OK, not that I really care if I fail, but the important thing is is that our music is really starting to take off. Sadly, as of the moment, we have nobody to keep some form of time for us. No drummer, no bassist.

That was gonna change.

So Jonny and I, instead of spending our customary evening together jamming in his room, went down to the local pub and took a night off.

We talked openly about our hopeful plans for a band. Nobody bothered us, which was fine with me, and we barely drank anything because we were too busy talking.

Until I notice a shadowy figure walking towards us...

"Jonny, do either of us know that guy?"

Jonny took a quick look him and said "Nope."

And from here, I'll let the master writer take over.

Anyway, the mysterious student pulled over a chair from a vacant table and sat down.

"I've heard a lot about you two."

"Excuse me, but... who exactly are you?" I asked.

"My name's Guy. Guy Berryman."

Chris wanted to know how he knew about them.

"There's been talk of your music-making. Most people say it's shit."

Chris turned his now sad face to Guy as he spoke again.

"I've heard it. I think it's brilliant. And I want to be your band's bassist."

Chapter 3: Will

*Guy's POV*

I'm not so sure if I should be doing this. I'm only helping to write this thing because I have nothing else better to be doing and because Chris asked me to. The guy's got some great powers of persuasion, I tell you.

Oops, Jonny's looking over my shoulder, so I should probably begin.


We needed a drummer. Bad. With the help of my now being this yet unnamed band's bassist, we still needed a drummer, for there is no band without the drummer.

So this is the story of how Will Champion became our drummer.

{FLASHBACK}

"Hey, Guy come here! I have a very special assignment for you!"

I walked over to Chris who was sitting on Jonny's bed and fiddling with his acoustic guitar.

"Alright, I already know I'm gonna regret it, but what do you want?"

He stood up and grinned. "You are going to go and find us a drummer."

I looked at him in shock. "Hell no."

"Hell yes, Guy. You are going to find us a drummer and you are going to do it by the end of this week."

I shot him a skeptical glance, but I knew he meant it, so I agreed.

{END FLASHBACK}

It was a Tuesday when I agreed, so I had until Saturday ti find us a drummer.

First, I asked if anyone in my Engineering class was a drummer. Because I normally never spoke, they all stared at me funny. None of them played the drums.

Then I tried the library. No luck.

Instead, I found him while I was playing football.

{FLASHBACK}

I kicked the black and white ball up against the side of the building, thinking about my assignment. It was Friday, so it was either find a drummer now or in the time before rehearsals.

During my thinking, I didn't notice the person standing behind me.

"You like football?"

The simple question scared the crap out of me, since I didn't expect it.

"Yeah, but only kicking the ball around."

The guy looked familiar, now that I thought about it; hadn't I seen him at the fresher's party? I could've sworn I've seen him before.

Anyway, I'd just thought of something else, besides whether or not I knew him.

"Hey," I asked, "do you know of anyone that plays the drums that would be willing to join our band?"

"That's what I came here for. I've got a drumset, and I know how to play them. When I heard you guys, I knew that once you got a drummer, you'd make it big time. I've never been a part of something as huge as this will be; so, in short, I'd like to join your band."

{END FLASHBACK}

Talk about a miracle.

CHAPTER II

Spoiler

I woke to the sound of someone knocking on the door.
In my hazy sight I could see the room around me was dark, apart from the street light shining in from the window. I rubbed my face hard to make sure I wasn’t dreaming. No, there was definitely someone at the door.
I heaved myself out of the comfy hole in the old couch I’d made for myself and staggered toward where the noise was coming from.
Just before I opened it, I switched on the lights so it didn’t look like I’d been asleep for hours.
The door clicked as I turned the handle, and I was met with those same crystal eyes I’d seen earlier that day.

“Hi,” I greeted. It was colder and harsher than I meant, the kid grinned back happily anyway.
“Hey! Sorry it’s so late, but I er...” He thrust a guitar case in my direction. “This is yours. You must have picked up the wrong one when we crashed into each other.”
I picked up the wrong one? Cheeky bastard.
“Oh, cheers. Yeah, I was gonna come and find you but you seemed like you were in a hurry,” I replied.
“Yeah, I was late for a lecture. Over slept my alarm.”
The kid looked up above me as if in deep thought, then shot his eyes back down to me with that wild grin again.
“I’m Chris!” he said cheerfully holding out a long hand. “Chris Martin.”
“Jonny Buckland,” I smiled, taking his hand.

I already liked him.

“So you play guitar?” Chris asked.
“Yeah, since I was 8.”
“Cool! I can’t really play that well, but I kinda just make it up as I go. We should get together for a jam sometime!”

God he was abrupt. We’d only just met, and already he wanted to jam with me.
“Yeah. That’d be great.”
Chris grinned like a loon. Something about that crazy haired kid was very attractive as he looked up at me with those huge crystal eyes. I felt my cheeks burning and I scuffed my foot on the floor.

“Er... d’ya wanna come in and... uh... jam with me?” I asked in a low voice.
“Are you serious? Yeah!” I looked up to see sheer glee spread across his face. I’d never seen anyone as happy.
“Um, cool,” I said quietly. His crazy smiling was contagious. I stood back and let him come through the door.

As soon as he came in his grin turned to a look of amazement. He just stood there, staring at the walls of my dorm, as if he couldn’t possibly believe what he was seeing.
“Is er, something wrong?” I asked.
“No, no! God no! This...” He gestured to the room around us. “... is incredible!”

I scoffed in surprise. Most people thought my room was daggy and weird because I had posters of all my favourite musicians, people who inspired me, covering the walls. People like The Stone Roses, U2, George Harrison, My Bloody Valentine, Bob Dylan. Nobody really fashionable. But to find someone who thought my place was actually cool...? Not possible.

“Seriously?” I laughed, thinking he was being sarcastic.
“Yeah! Bob Dylan, U2, The Beatles... holy Jesus, I... wow.”
He was absolutely mesmerised by the posters I had up. I’d never seen anyone so excited by this kind of thing before. It was madness.
“You’re literally the first person to come in here and not think I’m mad,” I said after a while.
“Are you kidding? This is fucking awesome! These musicians, they’re...” He spun around and looked me dead in the eye with a look of bewilderment. “They’re my heroes!”

I couldn’t put words to my happiness at hearing those words. Finally I’d found someone who appreciated amazing music! I’m think I’m love, I thought gleefully.

“I know! Er, y’know it’s like... they’re awesome, and... I, well...”
Bugger. Just when I needed to impress this guy, I turned into a blubbering mess. I took a deep breath.
“They’re my heroes too,” I managed to say calmly.
“I think this is going to be a lovely friendship,” he said thoughtfully.
I just laughed, but inside I knew it too.

Our eyes met. Something small, so very tiny, flashed across his face. So small it was gone in an instant, but it was there. I knew he was thinking the same thing I was.

It was almost as if we were made for each other.

Chapter 13
Chloe got changed into her pajamas and began to relax when a knock was at her door she went and answered it, she got the shock of her life it was Chris and he looked upset he just walked straight in and sat on the lounge. Chloe sat next to him and asked what was wrong “I miss you so much nothing is the same anymore and it’s not just me everyone else misses you as well please come back to London I will never ever let anyone hurt you”. “Chris I can’t and you know that” Chloe replied, Chris held her hands and said “run away with me” she looked up at him with those bright blue eyes looking at her what was she going to do she couldn’t say no to him, “ok but I don’t have anywhere to stay” “stay at my place” Chris said “thank you but when I find a place I’ll move in there, ok?” Chloe said “ok that’s fine as long as you’re in London then I’m happy” Chris replied. Chris helped Chloe pack her things that she had and they got the first plane to London, Chloe slept at Chris’ that night and had to talk her mum into believing that moving back to London is the best thing of her life. Chloe told her mum a heart aching story about how she loves the boys and she finally let her move back to London.

Chapter 14
They all had a party to welcome Chloe back to London it was so exciting they all had the time of their lives; Chloe went out on the back verandah and looked up at the stars twinkling in the moonlight, Chris then came out and stood next to her looking at the beautiful night sky as they were talking Chris got closer and closer to Chloe. As she was looking at the night sky Chris turned around and put 3 fingers up at Jonny, Jonny nodded his head and went to the music player then the song started it was Hero by Enrique Iglesias. Chris grabbed Chloe’s hand and started to dance it was the same song that they danced at the graduation when they were crowned King & Queen, they looked into each other’s eyes and it was magical it was exactly the same as graduation it felt like they were the only two people in the world. Then Chris whispered in her ear “I want to show you something”, so Chloe followed him and they went around the corner to find a swing with lights all around it, Chloe sat on the swing and Chris stood behind and gave it a light push they had the best time then Chris was on his knees in front of the swing and Chloe fell off they were now lying on the grass watching the stars, Chris sat up looked down at Chloe and though *oh my god I can’t believe I’m staring at the most beautiful woman in the world* Chris couldn’t resist he had waiting long enough he knelt down and kissed Chloe. Chloe was in complete shock after one more minute Chris got back up and he put the biggest grin on his face, they were both in love and it scared Chloe she got up and said “I got to go” she placed a kiss on Chris’ cheek and left. Chris stood there and then walked inside the house Jonny went up to him to see Chris with a very upset look on his face “hey mate, what happened” Jonny asked “I blew it I couldn’t resist I kissed her and then she left” Chris replied. Jonny got Chris a drink and they talked, Chloe was at her new house that she had just bought lonely just thinking about that kiss and how much it meant to her Chloe went because she loves Chris so much if she kissed him anymore than she wouldn’t be able to resist but take it further.
