Glass of Water - next single? - Page 2

Chris did say that this is one of his favourite songs!

It was supposed to be the last single but when they were coming up with ideas for the video and bought in the puppet master the video didn't seem right for the song so they changed the song!!! for the video!!!

I was rather gutted I really do love Glass of Water!!

missyvik, I know what you're talking about! It was in an interview with Dougal Wilson, the director of the LITii video.

So you met up with Phil?
I did. We had a chat and it sounded like they wanted something in the style of what I'd done before, with my kind of silly humour. They were originally going to release a song called Glass Of Water, so that was the one I came up with an idea for. But that idea turned out to be too expensive and would've involved the band, which was looking really tricky because they were on tour. So, then I had to think of another idea, but it was nice because they were committed to me doing it by that point. Meanwhile, the band had suggested that they could be puppets, possibly in a Thunderbirds style. I thought puppets was a great idea, but that the Thunderbirds look had been done, with Team America.

Yeah, that's a really good point. I too was thinking of the 4Music performance. I really hope we're not getting our hopes up for nothing.

The thing with coldplay is when they release a video they usually tell you in advance like Viva La Vida, saying its coming out soon, and then they take years bringing it out and the dame aplpies with announcing singles

That's the one benjamin!!!! So you never know maybe Oz will get it first?? Or maybe they'll release some of this filthy funk they're banging out??? Hmm... not just yet eh!? Glass of water has to make single off this album!! It just has too!!!

That's true, but there's a first for everything.

It does seem unlikely but why else would Rage play Glass Of Water?

I think it will be a live performance.
And I don't think it's the next single per se, but just something that rage has chosen to put on for fans.

I just caught the end of Glass of Water on one of the subscription television music channels called [V]2!! It was a live performance video clip. I'm sure it must be the single, except it hasn't been said anywhere that it was going to be released which is what i'm confused by.
