RIAA stands for the Recording Industry Association of America, They make many billions of dollars, and hunt down people who share music online because they want more money. They also use IP tracking which is an invasion of privacy. I'm curious if anyone actually likes them and/or what they're doing.

i fucking hate them and i hope they burn in hell because they are suing people for downloading songs even though it is technically "stealing" they already have fucking millions of dollars. greedy fucking pricks.

well being a music business major myself i dont know what to say. I see where the RIAA is coming from and their intentions but the way they are going about it is in my opinion ridiculous for ex. the 12 yr old girl.
They should think of alternative ways of dealing with this instead of suing people, cause like i said before if they are going to have to sue one person then they would have to sue all for the same reasons.

I've heard that Universal is lowing the prices of the albums... that's a good start, then.
