ok, the girls are still sleeping and me and hubby are making the breakfast - where do i start? the girls got here around 12 -(Halokiti, Sarah, Stephberryman, Pris and cooky) jumping out of my skin when pris got here with sarah, iwas litteraly in the street directing the car to the side so i could hug her. got on the road and tons of effing traffic - but no one cared, my car has this thing where you can download cd into the harddrive of the car, so i have the complete library of Coldplay and we listined to the whole thing on the way up in alphabetical order!!!

we were like the first people there so we were pumped, met chelsea and lauren and started the 3 and a half hour wait outside, eating butterfly cookies, (also had butterfly cupcakes becasue it was ERica's bday) will up load pics soon and making posters. i was freaking couaes i was not sure the sweet cheeks banner would make it inside so i was going to shove it down my pant leg. it sucked becasue we ddnt have portable ipod or anything but we could hear some of the soundcheck. oh i hear girlfans upstairs, be back in a minute..............

Fellow New Yorkers who went to this show-
I was just reading the back of the tour shirt and since when are they playing Wantagh, New York at the end of July?! I'm pretty sure that was never announced on either the coldplay website or the jones beach website that I looked at last week for other tickets! My dad is going to kill me when he finds out I could get tickets to a show 20 minutes away instead of 3 hours...

i think i burst a lung last night. the pain from a lost voice isn't in my throat, it's like in my chest .

i'm sorting through pictures now...some aren't so good, so i'm only going to post a selection of the best ones (selection meaning like 60, since i'm putting them on facebook ). the other girls have more cute group shots of us than i do, which i'm looking forward to stealing.

ok, they have been fed, so we line up to get in and we storm the gates, then we had to get stupid (purple though) wristbands and wait on another line. so then we run in and head to guy's side - front row on the bariier and we are squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeing like manicas, this is the closest i have ever been, and right next to Ramp of love. yada yaada perter yorn was good. so now we realize there is no way we can go to the bathroom casue we are not losing our spots but we didnt have much liquid anyway

so it all begins and we are jumping out of our skins and Guy is looking hotter than ever and the jonny love was devine. cutie will was banging away and chrissy was running aound like a manic and was in an amazing mood. silly, funny, charming - in top form. i cant remember set list but strawberry swing and glass of water was amazzing. our signs were soooooo cool and chrissy totally loved the phil sign. Erica made a beautiful warning sign and i was shoving it in Chrissy's face the whole time but to no avail. we were screaming the whole time and the guys knew that we were the die hard fans, they were on our side most of the time. chris go bored of the peeps on Jonny's side. ok, i gotta do the family thing and will post more details later, the girls will prob log on soon to give better accounts. we have amazing pics and vids, Politik is insane sooo close your gonna love it. bye for now be back later

cris, they probably won't be put up for another 45 mins or so...i'm still sorting through over 200 of them . i wish i had a better concert camera, though...it's fabulous for other things, but it's really hit or miss with coldplay. then again, i suppose it makes up for somewhat crappy concert photos with HD, spectacular-sounding videos, which is next on the agenda

we all got there at pretty much the same time, and we WERE allowed to park there (the guy on the phone LIED to me ), so we parked close to the lines and waited around from about 3:15ish to 6:30. i had fun in line though . despite the rain, it didn't feel like that long at all. we discussed signs and nervousness and made a few new signs in case we weren't allowed to bring the big ones in (but we were in the end).

they started taunting us by getting all ready to scan tickets behind the gate like 45 minutes before it was actually time, so we all had our tickets and our bags open and were ready to run (and were all-around freaking out ) way before we had to be. finally they opened the gates (all the employees were nice and jokingly taunting us) and we RAN inside. but the pit-goers had to wait in ANOTHER line to get wristbands, and THAT was all-around chaos. these drunk girls in line refused to line up and just kept pushing at the front with the employees yelling at them and everyone else getting annoyed. granted, the entire system for wristband-giving was ridiculous and stupidly organized, but eventually people cooperated and we were allowed to *walk* in.

WE ALL GOT THE PRIMO SPOTS, right in guy's corner, where the ramp meets the stage. basically, we all freaked and jumped around and caused a general scene (pretty much all night ). i thought both opening acts were really good, and time passed rather quickly while waiting for coldplay. we took a lot of pictures and did a lot of squeeing .

and then...THEY CAME ON. i thought life in technicolor was made about 50 times more epic by the sparkler torches they had...i need to get me one of those. it goes without saying that the show was EPIC, and the guys definitely noticed us . i saw guy reading our various signs at the beginning. he didn't have a ton of reaction for the most part and actually seemed a bit frightened by us, but he did give a big smirk at christa's PHIL IS HOT sign! and chris...he saw our sign early on, read it, and then went "OH ! !" very obviously . guy started to appreciate us more in our corner once he realized we were hardcore fans that new every note and every word and weren't just drunks or whatever. i would wave at him compulsively every time he looked down at us, and once he gave me (or my general direction, which included sarah, christa, and pris) a big smile. other than that, he grinned a lot at us and smirked . i think noelia or someone said they thought jonny winked at us at the end, but i missed it if it happened.

we basically sang like banshees and were all-around fangirls all night. i think i exploded a tonsil, and i think i have permanently lost my hearing in my left-ear . chris was in an ESPECIALLY good mood for some reason and talked to the audience a lot, sang a little jokey song about all the guys when they were on the C stage (will is the most likely member of coldplay to be in a horror film, guy is the most likely member of coldplay to be in a porno "but without the questionable bits" ), smiled all the time, danced around fabulously, etc etc . he was making a lot of apologies about the last hartford show (i wasn't at it...ironcially, i was at the bakery at the time ), saying how bad they thought it was, and i think they were really trying to make up for it tonight. they were probably in the best form and highest spirits i've ever seen them in at one of my shows.

at the end, the final bow, guy looked right at us and gave a sort of head-nod with a cheeky smile, like he was saying "ladies ," and we all freaked. then will walked by and gave us a HUGE grin and a thumbs up.... we were obviously the biggest freaks there, and they obviously noticed .

no setlist or pick action, but sarah got a big yellow balloon! and we obviously got tons of butterflies, and our free CDs! we decided not to stage-door stalk at the end, seeing as A) they probably did a runner, since they have a faraway show tomorrow, B) we lolligagged with bathrooms and merchandise, and C) we had no idea where the stage door etc was . but we hung out in the parking lot tailgaiting until the traffic cleared, and it was wonderful . i loved everyone in our group; it was so much fun to go with people who get the obsession and you don't have to worry about acting like a fangirl or being too loud or singing off-key.

pictures and videos tomorrow from me...i think i got a few decent photos, but my camera isn't a big fan of concerts . i also have a fair few videos, but i like to get entire songs, and LIJ is fragmented, i didn't get all of GOW (stupid record button being so close to the zoom and so easy to press), and my battery died during the scientist.

anyway, I LOVE YOU ALL, and i can't wait to start sharing pictures and videos tomorrow
