Just change the F's to E's and you have your chord.

Default correct the scientist sheet music

Somewhere in the forums I found sheet music to The Scientist, but it's not what I'm looking for. It uses the treble staff for the vocals (and both the melody and the lyrics are slightly wrong, but that's not the point). I'm looking for the actual song that he plays (where the choord progression is in both the treble and bass staffs). I hate to sound picky, but does anyone know how Chris really plays the song (either live or in the studio version)? I've tried listening and I've come close, but I'm not good at this kind of thing.

I can try to make up some sheet music for you, but he plays with these keys:

Right hand - (C,D,F,A) x4 -- (D,F,A#) x4 and you quickly bounce your pinky on High C for an eighth note -- (C,F,A) x4 -- (C,F,G) x4

and for the left hand {the way chris plays it is his left hand plays twice as fast as his right, but it sounds decent with it all played the same}

Left hand (played an octave lower than the right) - (D,A) x4 -- (F,A#) x4 -- (F,A) x2 -- (F,G) x2

I'll try to draw up some sheet music later for you

OK, I doubt this is correct, but it certainly sounds right:

first:
right hand - d, f, a
left hand - d, f, a

second:
right hand - d, f, a#
left hand - a#, f, a#

third:
right hand - c, f, a
left hand - c, f, a

fourth:
right hand - c, f, g
left hand - c, f, g

However, for the fourth one, if you play it album-version style, you don't change the left hand from "third" to "fourth" until the last time you play the "fourth" right hand.

If you are singing to it, it sounds a lot better to play the third right hand 7 times in a row, then play the fourth right hand once (with the fourth left hand). Chris does that when he's playing live.
