"Hot N Cold" sounds a lot llke "Lovers in Japan"
Did anyone else notice that at about 2:07 in the song "Hot N Cold" by Katy Perry that it sounds a lot like the chords in "Lovers In Japan" at 3:00?

Just like they copied Viva la Vida from 19 different other songs! What next? Are they gonna start singing about kissing boys...and LIKING IT???!!!

This sounds nothing alike, but of course, knowing most people, Coldplay copied Viva from about 30 other artists...

Haven't heard it, but the chords are Em, G, C and D. There are a million songs with those chords.
:edit: just listened, might I ask what you've inhaled lately? Doesn't sound remotely similar.

Haha...I don't even like this song, I just heard it the other day. I'm sure it's just a coincidence, but the chord progression at 2:07 in Hot N Cold IS the same as at 3:00 in LIJ. But I'll just leave it at that.

you obviously dont write any music or have one shred of knowledge regarding music. To even make a claim that there is the same "chord progression" is a complete waste of time. There are only so many chords to choose from ALOT of songs have similar chord progressions to each other. Stop wasting our time.
