At first I was in love with Perfect Symmetry, but the more I listened to it, it was a little dissappointing, but still a worthy album from Keane....Under the Iron Sea is still there best.

Top Ten Albums Of 2008:

01. ¡Forward, Russia! - Life Processes*
02. Snow Patrol - A Hundred Million Suns
03. Bloc Party - Intimacy
04. The Corrections - Repeat After Me
05. TV On The Radio - Dear Science
06. Coldplay - Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends
07. Wolf Parade - At Mount Zoomer
08. We Are Scientists - Brain Thrust Mastery
09. Los Campesinos! - We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed
10. Sigur Rós - Með Suð Í Eyrum Við Spilum Endalaust

*I thought about Life Processes, then I thought about ¡Forward, Russia!'s hiatus. Then I remembered how I felt when I first heard it. No other album this year had the impact that Life Processes did, and it is still there nine months later. That really does say something.

01. Snow Patrol - A Hundred Million Suns / Bloc Party - Intimacy / The Corrections - Repeat After Me (I just can't seem to separate these three, try as I might)
02. TV On The Radio - Dear Science
03. Coldplay - Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends / Wolf Parade - At Mount Zoomer
04. ¡Forward, Russia! - Life Processes (might have been outright AOTY if not for the hiatus)
05. We Are Scientists - Brain Thrust Mastery
06. Los Campesinos! - We Are Beautiful, We Are Doomed
07. Sigur Rós - Með Suð Í Eyrum Við Spilum Endalaust
08. Glasvegas - Glasvegas
09. Elbow - The Seldom Seen Kid
10. Keane - Perfect Symmetry

Space Cadet, please edit your first post to link to this list, please.

I can understand how you haven't heard of ¡Forward, Russia!, but WE ARE SCIENTISTS!?

They're fairly well known in the U.S., I think.

MySpace links for each:

http://www.myspace.com/forwardrussia (unfortunately on hiatus, as I mentioned in my last post )

Thank You! Im going to seek them both out. LORDY, Ive bought a lot of albums this year... Im glad the gas prices have been going down. As for We Are Scientists, maybe Ive seen the name on here before but I dont think Ive ever heard them. The radio were I live is littered with the likes of Taylor Swift and rap, pop and waaaaaaaaay too much country.
