This is a little on the random side, but I assure you, it's a genuine question.

If you really, really loved waffles, and the person you liked told you "I love waffles almost as much as you", do you think they'd be saying "I love waffles almost as much as you love waffles", or "I love waffles almost as much as I love you"?

Hmm, maybe I should just ask the Oracle.

It's actually the other way around, I want to say that to someone, who happens to really like waffles, but I don't want him to interpret it the wrong way.
