Pendulum do Violet Hill Radio 1 Live Lounge

Anyone catch the Live Lounge today..? Pendulum did their own track then covered Violet Hill - drum 'n bass stylee

http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/liveloun...pendulum.shtml - if you do the listen again thingie on iPlayer, the live lounge starts about 2 hrs 15 in and VH starts at 2hr30, with a long slow build up.

I'm not a Pendulum fan, tho I do like the Propane Nightmare single they did, but I thought I'd make time at work to listen, cos the live lounges are always interesting. I didn't know they were gonna do Coldplay but was pleasantly surprised - very rocky. Vernon Kay played it again when I was in the car on the way home from work.

If anyone can get an mp3 out of this and upload, I'd be v. grateful

I thought it was good..especially on the second listen, but then I like songs covered in a completely different way from the original.

Same here!, I hated Pendulum before but songs like this cover, propane nightmares and the other side are good!

Ok I just discovered it's the same band I'm gonna see in a bit more than two weeks at Sziget Festival, I knew their name sounded familiar....maybe they will play it

But I'll listen to the cover, because it's coldplay,
and only because it's coldplay

but I swear to god if they ruin it like natasha bedingfield DESTROYED the scientist,
then I will set fire to their tour bus next time they're in newcastle!

The best I could do since it´s ripped from the web broadcast.Maybe someone here can manage to upload a better version or even make this version sound better.Oh,and forgive me that the file name is Paramore-violet hill,but someone told me before that was paramore covering it....
