Which title track do you prefer?
Personally I prefer Death And All His Friends.

DAAHF is more 'Coldplay'. I've gone off VLV since seeing it live.

viva la vida is the best song on this album and one of their best songs ever. if it wasn't for the male chorus at the end of it... daahf could've passed as a b-side. that being said, i still love daahf but i just don't think it compares to viva la vida. but i can see why others would pick daahf since it's more old school coldplay...

I really can't vote one or the other. I love them both for different reasons - Viva La Vida is basically a classic... it's catchy, memorable, and pretty much flawless. But I have a real soft spot for DAAHF - I loved it even before we heard the final album version, and I love it even more now. It may not be complete genius, but I don't know. For some reason, I just like the way it starts off quietly then builds towards the end. And I get the feeling that this is least over-produced track on the album, where its just the 4 guys and their instruments. And of course the male choir at the end... wow. That's a completely captivating moment for me. And I agree... its the best closer to a Coldplay album since Amsterdam. Love it.

Viva la Vida, I'm actually not digging death and all his friends

i really think if viva la vida hadn't been released early and it was just as fresh to everyone as 'death and all his friends' is now... it would be dominating this poll. once again... i REALLY like daahf... i just don't think it even comes close to touching viva la vida. justtt my opinion though.

i think a lot of us have come down with the single syndrome, where we pick the song that is the newest to us and like it more. im by no means saying death and all his friends isn't a fucking brilliant track, but from someone who knows what happens when a song is on to much (clocks...i almost hate it), i think thats part of the reason why everyone is digging daahf
personally i got to agree with zemy, the songs are so different, theyre kind of incomparable. you can definitely say which is your favorite, but these songs aren't coming from the same tree, theyre from different planets, so musically its hard to say "this one is better because of x, y and z" for now i dont have a favorite with these two songs, or on the album everything is a different color, and i enjoy all of them
