Default Track Skipping.

I know you're probably gonna all testify that you absolutely love Coldplay and don't skip any of the tracks on Viva la Vida (I didn't at first), but after 2 weeks of listening now, theres 1 track (well 2) that I skip on the album in my 40 minute ride to work and it's Track 6 (Yes/Chinese Sleep Chant). I don't hate the track per-se, but if I play it, I don't get to hear 'Death and all his friends' (a track I prefer much more) before I actually arrive at work. So... my question is this: Any of you skipping through any of the tracks yet?

Also, heres my honest rating of the album (not A/A- for every track):

1. Life In Technicolor 9/10
2. Cemeteries Of London 8/10
3. Lost! 6/10
4. 42 9/10
5. Lovers In Japan/Reign Of Love 8/10 (would be a 10 without reign..)
6. Yes (5/10)
7. Viva La Vida (10/10)
8. Violet Hill (7/10)
9. Strawberry Swing (9/10)
10. Death And All His Friends (10/10.. great ending)

The only songs I would skip through are Reign of Love and The Escapist. However, I don't skip them normally because I'm hoping that I'll learn to love them more with more listens.

I'm not skipping through any.

I'm not wild about Reign of Love but it makes a nice change of pace halfway through the album.

And I love The Escapist... it ties the album up neatly.

Wouldn't like to make a definitive statement so early on... but this may turn out to be my favourite Coldplay album yet

I don't skip a thing - all are great songs, and the album's short enough as it is!

If I want to listen to the album, I listen to it as it is - an album.

No love for Reign of Love? It's in my top 3 at the minute A beautiful song!

I often skip Viva La Vida and Violet Hill. Viva La Vida just gets a little cheesy for me in the chorus.

Life in Technicolor - 10/10
Cemeteries of London - 9/10
Lost! - 10/10
42 - 7/10
Lovers in Japan - 8/10
Reign of Love - 10/10
Yes - 8/10
Chinese Sleep Chant - 6/10
Viva La Vida - 7/10
Violet Hill - 7/10
Strawberry Swing - 10/10
Death and All His Friends - 10/10
The Escapist - 9/10

42 would get the full 10/10 if it were twice as long. It's too awesome to be only 4 minutes long and I feel like the song sells itself short as it is.

I skip 42 and violet hill..

I'm growing to like 42 more and more however, and I skip violet hill because I'm so sick of hearing it..

same is starting to happen with viva la vida, because I got the song in the iTunes pre-order I listened to it about 50 times before the albums release..
