Mine came in the cardboard (digipak?) case. i like how it looks. Oh and i dont think any of the VIVA LA VIDA albums will have leryics, because i remeber that chris said something along the lines of giving the leryics away are like giving away a recipie.

Default VlVODAAHF On Beautiful Vinyl.

It looks amazing and sounds great. :-) I just got it from my local record store.
Heres a glimps of what it look like id thought id share it with all of you. :-)
(Its just like the digipak only bigger and vinyl.)

It came with this cd
(Front)-

(Back)-
http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w...X/IMG_0366.jpg
(The Vinyl Itself)-

(All Together)-

The CD that came with it sounds slightly different than the regular CD. Maby Coldplay decided to do the same thing as Mudcrutch with their new album (set for relase tomrrow. see link) http://www.nytimes.com/2008/06/23/bu...gy&oref=slogin

Ooh, great photos!

Question though, is the difference of sound on the 'vinyl CD' really that noticeable? And can you give an example of what sounds different? I read that article and now I'm intrigued.

I think so, I think all the vinyls do, from what I've seen. I'm starting to think I should have got that instead actually, seeing as I would only have been paying £5 extra for the vinyl itself! Grrr

ahh well, i'd want the real CD myself too, since this one, while seemingly great quality, requires you to turn it all the way up. personally. i'd want a normal version too, but that's just me .

but yay for CD being included!

Im not 100% shure if its a vinyl cd, but chris's voice sounds slightly more defined. And the drums sound a little different. It might just be me though :-)

Wow, I still haven't opened my vinyl. I guess I'll have to check for it.

EDIT: I have two copies of the cd in my vinyl package. I'll take a pic.

The vinyl is a better quality if youve got a good system and record player. My dads got both and he was amazed at the quality of the alblum.
