I adore this song. I said this in another thread, I think it's the perfect filler for an album full of heavy melodic tracks. It's simple and sweet, and it's really easy to listen to. One of my favourite moments on the new record.

i have to say, even though ROL has all the makings of being a perfect "me" song, i find it pretty forgettable. i mean, forgettable for COLDPLAY, meaning it's amazing, but it's just kind of the album low point for me. of course, that's not very low at all, but still.

i'm surprised i don't like it more, though

I really like this song. The first time I heard it, I was like, this song needs to be played at my wedding. (Not that I'm getting married any time soon, but it can't hurt to plan hahaha) The lyrics are just really sweet.
It makes me happy.

I think it and Chinese Sleep Chant are the two real growers of the album. Whereas everything else strikes you right away these two just creep up on you more and more after every listen.

It's definitely a pleasant enough tune, but forgettable is a good way to describe it.

it is an appaling song, the worst 3 mins of coldplay out there!

those who describe is a pleasent filler?? this is coldplay, there need not be a 3 minute filler, guaranteed about 4 of 5 of the b-sides will be far superior!

I honestly don't understand how you can dislike it so much or even call it the worst song on the album...I was just driving home with the windows down listening to it, and it was the most relaxing 3 minutes of my day haha. It has such a great melody, and it's so carefree and romantic. I hope it grows on all of the people that aren't loving it right away.
