Coldplay on The Daily Show--June 25

I didn't see a thread for it yet, so I decided to create one. Feel free to delete/merge if there already is one.

So.

COLDPLAY IS (APPARENTLY) GOING TO BE ON THE DAILY SHOW WITH JON STEWART ON JUNE 26.

This kind of makes my entire life, because I've always wanted them to be on that show. Jon is a pretty big Coldplay fan, as he's mentioned more than once, and the second time Gwyneth was on the show, he just wouldn't shut up about Chris. (Let's just say he's also a huge Gwyneth fan too

)

Tuesday to Friday its on More4 over here in UK & Eire and I love it to bits. Have been watching it here for welll over a year - since it started showing here actually. Jon is great, his Bush impersonations crack me up no end. Last night is was all about how Bush is now using the word "awesome" - man, neither McCain nor Obama will be as much fun to mock!

^Haha, I've only seen parts of his show on youtube, but the bits I've seen are very funny. It should be awesome to have Coldplay on that show

here are the two interviews with gwyneth on the show...i hope they embed ok.

but as you can see, jon has a HUGE crush on her, and he makes an absolute fool of himself.
"can my son...bang your daughter?"

and the second one is all about chris, mostly

Thanks again! The second interview really takes a turn for the weird and you got the feeling it should have been Chris up there instead of Gwyneth lol. Still, Jon's great. Gonna be interesting to see the four crammed round the table alright! I wonder if Chris will bring up that "my son - bang - your daughter" comment from a few years ago.

Btw anyone notice how much the sets have changed over the years - its like it gets changed every year since Jon came on!

they got a completely new studio in the past two years or so. colbert now has the old studio

i hope chris DOES bring up that comment about apple (in a light-hearted way). it could be HILARIOUS, but then again, he never talks about his family. i did love how gwyneth was like "ooh, her father's gonna KILL you!" and jon was like "he's a tall man, isn't he" and gwyneth says "taller than YOU!!" because jon is notoriously short

Lol yeah I remember when he had John Kerry on the show and he was like twice as tall as Jon haha.
There's an interesting clip on YouTube where Colbert talks to Charlie Rose about his big-brother relationship with Stewart - I think the title is "Colbert shmoozes about Jon Stewart" or something.

gwyneth says that she will be at the shows but any how i doubt it because in a lot of them there is not even sense of her.

and also many gwyneth fans here will not agree with me but i know that she wasn't in many of them!

Honestly though it would have gone down like a lead ballon if she replied, "No, I don't care for his music, its sh!t" at which point the audience, and Jon, would have seen how well she could hold up to 100 people screaming at her for 5 minutes. The perfect interview!

eventhough she's Chris's wife i like Chris,

but not her,not only her i hate many hollywood actors and actresses with a vengeance.

if you wanna fight with me for this,then well i don't want to even care about that stuff.

but what ever i said is 100% true(you believe it or not that's truly up to you)

there are only some actors and actresses in hollywood that i like:

Uma Thurman
Tobey Maguire

and not more.and that too i like them only because of their skills or talents or what ever right phrase you wanna call there!
