Violet Hill in the charts

How did Violet Hill chart in your country?

Just received word (and proof) that it charted at #1 in The Netherlands.

It's their second #1 hit, after 'Talk'.
'Clocks' charted at #2 in 2003.

iTunes in Australia, VH is currently # 39 in Australia with VLV at # 10. Not sure about everywhere else.

i think it will hit the more commercial top 40's too in a while when the clip is released.

I wonder where it will end up in the U.K.

It's number 1 in the iTunes chart, but will that be enough to kick 4 minutes into 2nd place?

Songs in this country very rarely climb...I think 8 is the best we'll get, especially as it was free for a week.

Viva La Vida will get higher I think
