The wiki lyrics are just wrong. The ones on here are closer.

I don't want to be a soldier

He's the solider that the captain would stow far below. That makes sense. The snow line just doesn't make sense.

Bury me in armour
When I'm dead and hit the ground
My love's a pond that unfroze

This is very possible. I'm not sold it's the word "poem". This is could be right.

why does he mesh his words together? it's hard to get the lyrics out of it that way.

I think the line is "My love's opposed but unfolds"

Here's what I think the lyrics are. I must admit it is difficult to hear what a couple of the words are and I'm English!

really impressed with all the great lines you've all contributed
but i just wouldn't be surprised if that line is something totally different than what we've all come up with.

we know it starts with "my" though. haha.

I hear the word opposed in it as well. I hear the s sound like a z but still an s of course. I hear the Ah sound for O. I hear the Pah sound for Po. and the Z sound for the Sed though very low. Doesn't make much sense but I definitely hear it.

I also hear Armor because I hear the MM sound. I don't hear the N sound. Though of course I could be wrong but so could be all. "Bury me in Ahmah."

yeah, i actually perfer Panic's lyrics over my original one....i dont think we'll ever know the real lyric to that one line though, until of course, theyre posted by the band

yeah, that's what I though the line was at first, but the line didn't make sense to me either. and that's when I came up with the line that I posted earlier:

My love's a pond that unfroze

It sounds perfect to me, and it makes sense in context....well either way, this whole lyrics deciphering business is tough

But I'm sure we'll still be debating this until some offical lyrics come from the band themselves.
