Question Plane and conveyor belt problem. With poll!

Not sure if this has been posted on here before but....

A plane is standing on runway that can move (some sort of conveyor belt.) The plane moves in one direction, while the conveyor moves in the opposite direction. This conveyor has a control system that instantly tracks the plane speed and tunes the speed of the conveyor to be exactly the same (but in opposite direction).

The question is:

Will the plane take off or not? ?

The plane will eventually get fast enough to lift off the ground, once it's wheels lift off the ground it will go forward...I think.

Of course it will gain speed and take off, because the force, which pushes the aircraft forwards, is not transmitted through the wheels (like it is in a car)...
the wheels are just there to reduce fricition and will turn (in this case) twice as fast as they usually would... [could be bad for the bearings ]

i think it takes off because, as winnie said, it's not totally up to the wheels whether it'll take off or not.. It's the engine that'll do the job

It will take off, but the wheels might be damaged so when it lands, the wheels might break

Lol, I suppose I should be an aviation buff because both my dad and my brother are pilots, but I'm still not ald enough to learn to fly with an actual flight instructor.
