Does anyone think the Beth Ditto album will sell a few extra copies just for being tied to Coldplay in this story? It wouldn't surprise me.

i did too. but perhaps they need to use this specific studio for some reason? i dont know, i'm quite clueless when it comes to recording technology and all that.

i hope that beth ditto doesnt stink up the studio for coldplay (the wiki article says she doesnt use deodorant because she "think[s] punks are supposed to smell.")

I'm sure after years in vans, busses and planes together, the guys are used to a little stink.

My guess is they recorded alot of tracks at their studio...maybe workshopped songs there, then took it to Air Studios for the final tracks/mixing. Part of the studio's appeal is its name power. A lot of famous acts have recorded there.
