Default Yamaha GT20

I've been looking around for this digital piano that Chris uses so I can buy it, but I can't find it anywhere!

Anyone know of a place where I can get it from?

Thanks so much!

This model as far as I know is only available in Europe so if your from the US it might be hard to find but I know I have found it before, sometimes on E-bay. The reviews on it are not that great to be quite honest but I have never played it so I would have no idea.

There's a huge music store in Manchester that stocks it...I played one while I was there. It's not bad, but there's nothing really outstanding about it compared to comparable Yamaha models.

There's a model that I'm thinking of getting at christmas called the DGX 620, you might want to check that one out. Its got weighted keys, very realistic grand piano voice, and hundreds of other voices to choose from. You can also record songs on your keyboard and then transfer it to your computer, which is a big bonus. Its not particularly cheap though, unless you've saved up for a while like me. (Although, it seems far cheaper than the model you are considering )

You can see a list of features here:

Yeah...it seems like a different, maybe european release of the YPG 625. They look the same anyway. and if it is anything like the one I got for my birthday, it'll be all you could ever want short of live stage performances...as far as the GT20 goes. I looked into that sometime ago, and there is nothing on the yamaha websites about it, although I've seen it advertised by some online retailers.

Yeah I know this is quite an insanely random first post... but either way, oh well.

There is an alternative to what you seem to be looking for. Yamaha makes a model known as the U1 SG. It comes in the standard 48" version that Chris plays. It's part of their "silent piano" series, which have full acoustuc AND digital capabilities.

Sure, it's no GT20. So it's not EXACTLY what Chris plays...but its a damn good piano. My grandfather own the exact model I am mentioning.

Also, it will be more affordable and easier to find in America. I've seen them for about $11K

EDIT: Sorry, minor detail here. The GT20 is 40", not 48"

as far as i know, it's been discontinued some time ago.... there are newer models though and i'd not recommend insisting on that piano because of Chris, he wouldn't give a damn himself it's the sound that matters

Speaking of keyboards, I'm getting a Yamaha YPG-235 and is there anyway you can load sounds onto the keyboard? Like if I can find the right organ sound chris uses during fix you is there a way i can load it on the keyboard?

it's the "rock organ" on yamahas built in ._.
and no, you cannot load new sounds onto your keyboard, but with a computer and a midi cable, you may use "VST" sounds (google that yourself ;D )

Hm. Can you please give me any similiar models? I read your post, but this piano is very good so I would like to buy something like that, maybe better like you said.
Oh, and about the Fix You. On my keyboard it's called "Cool! Organ". Such a lame name -.- But well the sound is very very close to Fix You.
