1 Death Cab For Cutie vs. Arcade Fire
2 Blur vs. Snow Patrol
3 Radiohead vs. The Beatles
4 Sigur Rós vs. Keane

To Vote

Pick one of the 2 musical acts from each fixture and make your choice stand out above the other act (either by bolding it, or underlining it, or by deleting the other act).

You don't have to vote in every fixture, you don't have to give reasons (although sometimes giving a reason is good) and you can edit your votes up-to the point where the thread will be locked at the deadline and votes counted

1 Death Cab For Cutie vs. Arcade Fire
Arcade Fire all the way. One of my favourite bands, and my second favourite Canadian band. I've never really been able to get into Death Cab For Cutie.

2 Blur vs. Snow Patrol
Blur is probably better, I just haven't listened to them enough to pick them over Snow Patrol.

3 Radiohead vs. The Beatles
Radiohead, duhhhhh. Man Radiohead keeps going against some big acts.

4 Sigur Rós vs. Keane
I'm a big Keane fan. I love both their albums. I know people aren't that big on Under The Iron Sea but I think its fantastic.

Much as I love Radiohead, there's no question which band had a greater impact on music overall.

The other votes aren't based on musical impact, just personal taste.

(both of their later* work is great, but Radiohead's earlier stuff is clearly better)
(of course the Beatles have made a bigger muscial impact; they have had more TIME to do so!)
