Default Jonny's Politik guitar change

At the Glastonbury 2005 concert, after the first chorus at 'Give me one...' Jonny switches from his black thinline tele to his natural tele. Just as a matter of interest, does anyone know why? Different tunings?

maybe he broke a guitar string? or was detuned.

But he never has changed it for differenttunings

I think that Jonny uses 2 guitars in politik. Not live, but in the studio version

He starts with the naturel but changes to his black tele after the first verse of Speed of Sound and sticks to it for the rest of the song.

I looked into both of those (you-tube). In the politik glasto '05 case, he definitely changes guitars during the second verse ( from the black to the natural). Why? He either broke a string or felt something was wrong with the sound because he doesn'r do that in later performances (such as toronto 2006).

IN SOS glasto '05, he changes guitars there also, mysteriously starting the song with the natural and near the end, switching back to the black. Strange.

Or....what Squier Pete said. Is that in anyway a reference to the by fender guitar brand? because I have one of those.
