Square One live voice effect

Anyone know what Chris uses to get that strange voice on the opening lyrics to the live version of Square One?

It's kinda like a robot style effect (Vocoder perhaps) on ' You're in control.. etc'

Anyone have any idea what he is using?

:S I don't quite know what your talking about but I think it's just an little effect that is done by the guys in charge of the sound (speakers, mics, the instruments...)
