Why would I need to take a long hard look at myself for that, I am really dont like Low, and that is my opinion. Just because you think Low is a great song, doesnt mean that everyone else should feel that way.

Im not bashing X&Y, X&Y is a good album, when compared with many other artists today. But in comparison with Coldplays other material, it is weak. I and many other fans that have stated their opinions on X&Y realize what Coldplays potential are, and I personally wouldnt say that they came close to reaching it on X&Y.
But thats just my humble opinion.

And on the subject of commercialism, I do like music for the music, which is exactly why I dont care for commercialism in music. If I wanted to listen to music that was for making money (which dont get me wrong, I realize that thats what Coldplay do for a living) I would listen to Britney Spears or something along the lines of that. I realize they do make their living off of albums, but I dont like to be reminded of that when im listening to the album.

agreed. x&y isn't even close to what coldplay has done before and still is capable of doing. i guess that 4th album's gonna be *deciding* one.

lol...correct me if I'm wrong, but the British press already did years ago!

Just because Eno's producing doesn't mean we should automatically assume the album will be 'electronic'. ENo's a master of blending the electronic and the organic. Besides Talking Heads and U2, he's also worked with Bowie, James, Peter Gabriel, Depeche Mode, Daniel Lanois, Roxy Music (lest we forget)...the list is endless, and they're not all Robert Fripp-esque electronic records.

mmm I just listened to his interview on Radio 4 and he said he was "working with Coldplay producing their next record". I would tend to trust news from the horse's mouth over second hand news from any companies.

Well, if it's not happenning, that was fast. Why would Eno anounce it on the BBC if the deal wasn't carved in stone? I hope Orange is wrong just this once.

Q. Hello, We are planning to develop a fan club website for Coldplay whose music rapidly spreads among crowds of people across our country(Turkey). However, We do want to develop this website officially within the Coldplay family. We would be glad if you give us some information.

The Oracle replies:
You can't develop the site as part of the official Coldplay site I'm afraid but there are loads of unofficial fan sites around the world. One international one that springs to mind is http://www.coldplayzone.it. If you contact Patrizio he's really nice so am sure he'd be helpful.
