Default Chicago Delay start/Short Sets

I dont know about some of you but nothing more pisses me off when I look at setlists for tons of various artits I see and one night they play 14 songs like in chicago, and then a few nights later they play 18 in New York. I dont care how much I love coldplay do they really think nobody in the audience does not know how much BS that is. Techinically the 45 dollars most of us paid for the presale tickets is higher then most artists playing those size venues. I have read in many posts about how pissed eveyone is how fast coldplay went through their set, has anyone heard why they were 30 mins late. I heard them outside at sound check at 5.15.
What i would have given for him to play 4 more songs such as, warning sign, green eyes, shiver and see you soon. Come on now

well, i would like to think if the city limit was midnight instead of 11pm, they would have played more. but, you have to consider the setting up of two opening acts, tearing down, and setting up for coldplay. there's where the time went...did anyone else see the fight on the right hand front row? :?: i was a hair from getting knocked...but very entertaining while waiting for coldplay (made the time pass)... enid

in my opinion, paying 45 bucks for a coldplay show is a ripoff no matter how long of a set they do. sorry, i know people won't like that, but there are very few bands or artists that i would pay that much to see. i can think of three.

that said, i actually did pay 40 bucks to see them a few months ago, which was when i decided that. 25 and 15 were ok, 40 is a bit much.

i'd pay 40 bucks just to see them play one song. that's how much i love them.

oh, about the fight. there was a lot of people passing out or getting dehydrated. so during ron sexsmith, 2 teenage girls were sick or something, and when they came back, there was this girl and her boyfriend who took their spots on the rail and wouldn't move. so then the girl and her boyfriend and the whole gang of friends they came with were fighting with the security guards. there was lots of cussing and shoving....they threatened to kick them out...but they didn't. it was entertaining though. lots of ecletic people going to the coldplay concert now a days. --enid
