I'm trying to get into his stuff for a long time, but it hasn't worked yet. I guess there are just too many albums and considering the best one(s), everyone's saying something different.
So, any suggestions to get me into him?

The Freewheelin, Bringing IT All Back Home, Highway 61 Revisited and Selfportrait...of course if you want just best of his songs, you better find Dylan 2007compilation album

Okay, I know Freewheelin' and Highway 61, but two albums are just not enough

Nah, I don't like compilations at all, but I think nevertheless I'll try Dylan. Can't be wrong to get a rough overview of everything, can it?
