The nerve of this idiot! Somehow, she doesn't look like the world's foremost authority on football. I thought it was funny that she decided a country's football team automatically reflects the state of that country's society. Its something that only a completely ignorant, blathering idiot could say. After all, the Ivory Coast made it to the World Cup (a major accomplishment for a small African nation) while in the midst of a civil war!!!!

Well.. I don't disagree with ALL that she says, but it's bullshit that football reflects a country's society.. In Germany, the SOCIETY reflects FOOTBALL, not vice versa

The Germans don't play good because of the country's society, the society is in a great mood because of football
