Default Brainwashing of the people

Oh my...

I was watching TV with my dad some mintues ago.....I was zapping and on one music channel there was advertising....and only mobile phone ringtones advertising....damn annoying!
I still can't believe it that they are serious about Crazy Frog and friends....
This can't be true....really....

Those damn media are brainwashing the majority of the people so much...
but why do they do it?Yeah of course to make money....
No...I mean.....why do they do it with things like that?
Why don't they show education shows and advertising.....
ok...maybe not intellectual education things...but something in between....

I really can't understand that why they brainwash the people so much.....
I mean people (especially teenagers) can't control it in my opinion...they go with the trend....
but if they showed normal things......people would also be normal...because they are influenced so damn much by the media...

sorry.....but I can't get this in my head.....

Well.........Of course not everybody would be better....or different if TV for example was not like that....
But I think it's the influence of these things......and doesn't only have to do with different views of life...

i mean those people who watch these shows. media is about money and always be, it's not in their interest to show intellectual shows and i can understand them. it's business and everything is ONLY about money. you choose that you're being influenced by media and all this fake stuff or not. i don't care somehow
=
i just don't watch TV

I also don't watch much TV....
But I think those 12 year old kids who don't really know where they belong are influenced too much by TV....
and so they think everything shown there is great and good...

that's why they have parents who should think about their children. i know what you mean and i know how disgusting to see young teenagers who are 14-15 years old who are listening to their music, wearing some bitchy stuff and etc.
tbh i'm worried about the next generation (for example here in Switzerland)

but as i said it's their life i can't judge them, i can only accept them as they are

Heheh....I didn't say I don't accept them...
and you are right....the parents should care more about it...maybe I'm just thinking to "positive" about it...because here in my area families like in big cities don't really exist.....I mean here parents care a lot about their children....people have money here....most of the time a good job...nice houses etc....so I'm not experienced in how it is in the cities....and maybe therefore I think media should stop showing things like that...and then the problem is solved!

I even see this in my own family....
for example.....my mum cares a lot about me...what I'm doing here at the Computer......actually is more against chatting because I could meet violent or rude people in chats....

I agree with Nik... The media don't care about other people's little kids... they care about their pockets... it's not personal, it's business (The godfather)...

Well...I also said in my first post that I know that they only care about their profits....but I mean if they show things that are not in such an "under-level"..........people would still be influenced by it and not so brainwashed....they wouldn't know something else...just like they do toda.y....know what I mean?

media's power is growing nowadays and you can't really stop it. i do believe media can provoke wars, revolutions. actually media is already a big weapon. the worst thing that the media isn't independent anymore or at least not everywhere. in some countries (i won't name them, but i think it's clear about which ones am i talking about) the government is controlling everything, including mass media.

you should watch portuguese TV... it's the worse you can imagine, low quality programes that only care about viewing share... I personally think that's damaging the people's culture somehow... even the news were transformed in fanstastic shows sometimes... that worries me...

Yeah yeah...I also talked about this with my dad some days ago,...the thing with the government and stuff....
But now........you said they have such a big influence on people.....and this is annoying me....if they behave just like they do nowadays....because they only show shit....if the mass media wouldn't show shit....wouldn't this be a better world?
