Coldplay at the Junos

hello everyone i just watched coldplay perform at the junos i thought it was great although it couldve been better....thoughts?

I heard about Pamela Anderson's comments regarding the seals. Is it just me or are we are seeing more political or social issues being addressed at these awards shows? I have noticed a trend in the past few years.

^ you are correct. I noticed that too. Politics and awards shows should not mix. Junos and such are to celebrate music and talent, so it should stay at that.

I agree. If I wanted to hear about politics, I would turn on one of the news channels instead.

Politics and music have always mixed. A few comments made during an awards show doesn't bother me. I mean the Juno's DID take place on the East Coast where the contraversy is happening, I think it would be pretty ignorant for nobody to say anything. I can say the same thing about Martin at shows...I want to go to a concert to hear music, not to always have MTF shoved down my throat. I like that the artists I listen to care about stuff, if that ever changes I can go listen to Britney. Personally I find the fact that Simple Plan and Nickleback represent our music scene a little more disturbing. Just my opinion

yea she did have alot of comments abouit that and the fans booed here...then later to mock her another performer came our and told the crowd her outfit was made out of seal skin and the crowd went nuts...and concerning the song they played Talk....
