There are reports that her marriage to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin is headed for trouble. The “Yellow” singer hasn’t been spotted with his “Shallow Hal” wife for quite some time, and it’s starting to look like more than just a coincidence.

Sources tell press that she constantly avoids talking about Martin and often shifts the conversation to another topic when he is brought up. During a recent trip to the salon, Paltrow only spoke of Chris for, “less than five total minutes, always quickly changing the topic to her kids Apple and Moses.”

But when asked if there was trouble in paradise, the Sliding Doors actress responded, “Just because he’s not here doesn’t mean we’re divorcing.” That’s not the kind of response you’d expect from a happily married wife.

And let's remember, he is recording an album right now, thus becoming even more busy. And who are these people who expect them to be hanging arm and arm together all day and all night, and in front of the photographers! That's just not how they are. I certainly hope they aren't having problems, but it seems like the same kind of gossip we get about them every other year or so!

Exactly, it would be way more more weird if they suddenly started attending red carpet events and parties wrapped around each other posing for the paps. Then I'd start to worry! They've always made it very clear that they avoid being snapped together at events and talking about each other to the press, so this is just old news.

The press also speculate about a split-out..
because it as said that Gwyneth was mad at Chris cause he spent too much time in the studio..and not with Apple (about that i think it's false...I don't think that Chris didn't take care of his children while he is recording...the same with Gwyneth while she's working in movies)

They both pledged not to be potographed together at Red Carpet Events, which means (to me that) they see their careers as separate and their own responsibilities. So far, they have kept that pledge. There is NEWS. Keeping ANY vow in this world is news.

They are seen living predominantly separate public lives. Hmmmm... Let's see. they have a lot of wealth and cash flow, private carbon-un-neutral jets to use and a hell of a lot of flexibility. As the New Rich, they have lots of tech at their disposal, too, to keep in touch and get together as they pursue separate careers. They are two artists (ultimately, the art will be the most important thing until they are older) who are sharing their lives and bringing together who they are. WHAT. Are they supposed to subsume themselves into each other and disappear into paparazzi-land? or something? Good for Chris. Good for Gwyneth. They will have so much more to offer each other as they grow old, sag and wrinkle together. Maybe they won't grow bored with each other if they actually have their own lives.I just hope Chris keeps close to his babies, they need him, too.
