I think its something about that they are been hunted down, hence that it looks like somebody is getting ready with a sniper.

The bear is in a cage, pacing up and down on its own, so I think it is supposed to represent being lonely and trapped. Not sure though - could be anything!

I think we have all pondered this at some stage

I was thinking, the bear for the TL tour is sorta like the lasar was in 2003......except completely bizzare and somehow not quite as cool

I first saw it at the EMA awards, which may have been the first time they had used it.

Unless Chris thinks hes Doctor Dolittle "Lets Taaaaaaaaalk" referring to the bear, im sticking by my guns that its about the hunting and trapped side of things.

Nope, they'd been using it for a long while before that, during the tour.

They're used it every time for Talk.

I don't quite get it myself either...

I love the randomness of it, i'll never forget my mates face at Earls Court when he tapped me on the shoulder and was like "What the F*uck is THAT!?"

They probably started using it in the last European Leg, cause last summer I didn't see in it in Verona

But I'm with Dan's interpretation...probably referring to the meaning of the song..the bear's trying to escape but it doesn't know how to make people understand what it wants

Bah I don't know why do we always have to find a reason for anything

personally i really like it .... i saw it first at the emas ..... so i knew whatto expect when i saw them in belfast .... its quite a well known fact that bears kept in captivity for a very long time begin to pace up and down out of boredom ... they actually go physically crazy ... pacing up and down .... so yea it represents being trapped , lonely and out of control of your own mind..... personally im a bit of an animal rites supporter and i dunno if its true or not ... but the footage they use looks very much like footage used by peta .. people for the ethical treatment of animals ... and i know that gwyneth paltrow is a peta supporter ... so mayb chris is as well ...

It's kinda ambiguous. But I agree with you. I'm not sure, but I hope it involves PETA. I'd really love it! Very good idea.
