I think it's because he can't be categorised. He's not one type of music so it kind of freaks people out. Plus he's cheesy so some people are embarassed to like him....
I LOVE HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have seen him live twice and it's sooooooooooo great!
