If you have any concert bootlegs from 2001, you can hear some early versions of Amsterdam, A Rush Of Blood To The Head, God Put A Smile Upon Your Face and In My Place. In My Place sounds unchanged... but the other three had different lyrics and song structures...

Interesting about that bootleg, I don't think I have ever heard this.

I actually prefer the early versions of "A Rush of Blood to the Head" (the song, not the album). A lot darker feel than the studio version. It actually sounds way different from the rest of their stuff.

Reykjavik, Iceland

This was like one of their last European shows before going into studios for AROBTTH. 4 early tracks from that album on it.

I like the fact that Idiot is on the setlist. Now that's a mint track.

I really thought that Murder, Animals and Ladder To The Sun were strong contenders for X&Y ...maybe they'll surface as b-sides ....Ladder to The Sun ...damn I loved that song
