very aggressive, it takes a couple listens like "lateralus" but u come to realize that it's an excellent song. I can't wait to hear the rest of the album. I don't know how they could possible top Lateralus.

Yea, I just bought 10,000 Days today, and as with everything Tool, the 1st listen had all my expectations blown away. I really respect these guys, they've matured from a young angry metal band into an introspective and artsy band. Gotta give it a few more spins, this one is a grower.

OH yea, and I gotta add, the packaging is fuckin awesome!

haha yeah those lenses are a nice touch. The songs "10,000 Days, The Pot, and RIght In Two" have really grown on me. They're just amazing. And "Lost Keys" is very eerie sounding, I like it.

I'm gonna get ready for bed and give the cd another spin, this is gonna be my 2nd time around with 10,000 Days. Man, nothing beats the first few spins of an album you've been waiting for, for a lonng time. haha. After listening to it once the whole way through, I gotta say Jambi is pretty good.

After waiting for them to follow up Lateralus for years upon years, I sort of lost touch with Tool (I used to be the biggest fan I know), but now with this one, I think I'll find myeslf back into the groove with them soon. I'm gonna make sure to listen to AEnima tomorrow, my favorite Tool album.

I'll also be sure to get tickets for them if and when they come to Toronto. I heard that Tool gives the concert to end all concerts.

Default Tool - 10,000 Days

The new alnum from Tool is out... it has a few good tracks such as Vicarious, Jambie, Right In Two, Wings For Marie... although some of the tracks are time fillers, and the worst track on the album, track number 6 is just a bunch of monks chanting !... anyways... its another good, dark album from Tool...

i guess i see what they mean, but that doesn't mean he's bad. In my opinion, he's the best singer alive right now. His voice is just so powerful, it's scary.

The only thing I'm disappointed about is Rosetta Stoned, that song is lackluster. The last 5 minutes maybe are the best part. And Vicarious is just a mindblowing opener.

Oh and yeah I so want to see them live, I hear their live show is insane.

You dug up a thread from four years ago to say that?

Way to be an optimist.
