U2 - Page 210

U2 will be in Chicago on the 7th and 9th of May. Still, about 285 miles south of here - and the traffic would be a perilous adventure.. Should I go? Is there still time to get tickets??
I've never been to a rock concert - what's it like to be in the audience? (Well, I did got to SummerFest in Milwaukee a number of years ago, but that was more like wandering from place to place, hearing a lot of acts simultaneously.. and plenty of beer!) My memory is a bit hazy..

you should go... my first concert was in 2006 and I went to see U2.. one of the best days ever!

Quite a trip it would be for me and my old jalopy! I wish I lived in a major metropolis sometimes.. It's pretty far, but I'll consider it!!

what the hec are you referring to? And or what are u smokin? There is no tour this year... Let alone any one off shows not mention they don't do festivals either. No album as of yet but will probably happen fall of this year.

have you traveled back in time to 2005? A time traveler maybe? LOL

^I think so haha, I don't think he looked at the date of the post. But if he wants to travel there, go right ahead haha....it may be a little lonely...or may just have to see a Blackhawks game.

i think taking in a blackhawks game is in order for him.. Maybe he can teleport thru time like Hiro on Heroes and then he could actually be at those u2 concerts in 2005..

Yes, but to resurrect a thread that starts in 2005 is going to lead to confusion, when all those dates pop up (as it did)..

Well we just keep the same thread going for the same band, keeps it from getting confusing by having a bunch of threads about the same topic.

No confusion for anyone here that I know of other than yourself. As Briggins mentioned they keep one thread per band and since the board doesn't seem to have a limit on the number of replies a thread can have all the more reason to keep it like that.. Pretty simple, and less clutter in the forums..

Frankly, no offense but anyone who is heavily or moderately following the band (i.e. thru the band's website, news, rss feeds and the internet in general) would not be confused by a thread like this or others for that matter.
