Brit Speak 101

Well, so many yanks on the baord, why not educate them in the way to speak, they can wow their friends with new lingo.

Here's how it works.....

the americans can ask for the british meaning of a word, we reply...

and british can give a few translations of their own... for exmaple

Boner = hard on, stiffy
Hot = fit
Having a period = the decorators are in
haircut = ears lowered
trash = rubbish
Trunk = boot (of a car)
Cell phone = mobile phone

jon: a haircut doesn't look fit...it looks "tight" or "good"...but the girl looking fit and giving you a bit of a stiffy is fine...if it was half a stiffy, use "semi".

Bin = trash can
Sofa = settee

i got a semi (means i'm half hard)

Penis = dick (well dick most common word used over here)
Breat = boobs/tits (most commonly used words here)
pants = trousers over here
Underwear = pants (over here)
