Non members can now see our threads on the board without joining.
At times we share some secrects about our personal life in the threads we create.
Ian has done this, to generate more intrest in the forum, something of which I can support however at times I am not happy that our business can be seen by anyone.

Could Ian or someone create a section for members only. That can be only accessed by registred members ones that have more than say a set number of posts or been around for some time.

Others may not share my view, if so I can accept that.

Well, if everyone had to register, there would be tons and tons of people with no posts whatsoever, just because they want to come on and view threads.

Hmm having a section for only members with so many posts isn't excatly fair on new members though.

Maybe if you don't want people to see your business, don't post it, just PM your close Coldplaying buddies.

I agree... it is a 'public forum'... so there really isnt much to it. thats why they are called 'private messages'..

Well by non-members we mean guests. It shouldnt matter how many posts you have made.

I know, I was referring to a suggestion Daryl made that there should be a section for members with a certain number of posts.

And I was saying that would be unfair.

the amount of posts you generate doesnt mean anything when it comes to the length of time you've been on the board... ie Albie.. he's only been here since Oct. and has almost as many posts as me.. I've been here since July!

Not a good idea folks.. but that my opinion. I say keep the private stuff "private'.. via pm's.
