For some reason I've been getting into books about mathematician's lives.

I finished Nick Laird. Expected something different as his interviews are usually full of metaphors, quotes, similies, ... but I enjoyed it.

At the moment I am skipping through a few short stories about the sea; but will probably start reading "The Autograph Man" by Zadie Smith.

yeah, i think he actually went to "tour" around SEA last year. cos my friend was also telling me about him (my friend's a fan).

i know him more cos of the movie Stardust, i.e. he's the one who wrote the book the movie was based on, & cos he's written a book with Terry Pratchett (one of my fave authors).
