if you didn't know (well of course you didn't) my major is photography soooo from my point of view i enjoy using both and i do own both. i like the ordinary because its just so simple but the bad thing about that is you have to develope. with digital you get to email and erase pics you'v taken so if you own a computer and a digital camera it works out for u very good. well i dont want to write a novel so i think i'll just stop here!

Default If...

If you're going digital make sure its decent... at least 3M effective pixels. If you're into point and shoot digital is the way to go... :microwave:

i would say even if you dont have the green for it. going digital is great because it helps you with even more things. like i said before if you have a digital you can use it with your computer .

My sister has digital. Canon S400. its alright. the lightening it really good but zoom kind of sucks. I find that digitals take to long. well, this one does.

I have both but I prefer ordinary cameras - the quality is much better and there's nothing like actual pictures in photoalbums

I've just traded in an ordinary with big zoom lens for a digital. The digi was only £199, plus the rechargeable battery pack and extra-capacity card, but I got £100 on the old one, so the whole new thing only cost me £160. It seems very good. Very easy to use and it fits in a pocket or bag, not like the old one which you had to lug about with you it weighed a ton.
