whats the best music/sampler program?

when im bored i just mix random sounds but audacity is such a pain in the ass, are there any good, easy programs i can download instead?

Ableton is the best and possibly the easiest. All the pros use it! (that sounds silly but its true)
It'll probably take a while to get used to though.

I second Ableton.
If you are on a Mac, though, you might find that Garage Band will suffice (it's free).
But Ableton is much, much better for looping/mixing/chopping etc.
